Two questions about the Gulf Mess
A couple of questions I've got about the Oil Rig Fire and massive oil spill now going on that maybe someone can clear up. I've read a fair amount on the details of this situation, and don't recall answers about two major things.
One --- Has there been a Clarification about HOW or WHY the Drilling platform "blew up"? I did hear at least once that there was a "pressure surge" but not why that would ignite. That, since it was the Rig that blew, should mean that their wellhead would be relatively intact, and I'm assuming that there would be a Shutoff means near the wellhead.
Along with this, has anyone seen a "pictorial" or diagram of the well layout, especially seabed related?
Two --- On Megan Kelly's portion just about 15 min. ago, our "president" made his comments about the gov. response to the situation.
He threw in a one sentence comment that he'd ordered "Swat Teams" to visit and inspect the offshore Oil Rigs. Why? Are they all qualified to inspect pipe fittings and pumping equipment?
Something isn't stacking up here.
A relatively small amount of C-4 could do a lot of damage to a lot of oil rigs cheaply, I'm thinking. And our enemies aren't stupid. The Gulf is a nice container for oil spills. There's a lot of our food comes from there.
I seriously doubt the oil workers undergo much of a Security Check.
