There were many lengths called a "cubit" throughout history. What you referred to was the "6 digit" or Roman cubit. What Gary is obviously using is the Egyptian cubit in the calculation which was 7 digits or about 21 inches. And you have to figure that 85 to 90% of the food and water that goes in has to come out. I hate to think about it and with so few people to do the cleaning too.
