The TAX CODE is in compliance with the Constitution. It's the IRS that isn't. The Tax Code is divided into two sections:
The First section is for Income derived from Interest, Dividends, rentals, and property income.
Anything your money and investments earn IS A TAXABLE INCOME...and INCOME TAX must be paid on it.
---
The Second section is for WAGES.
If you read it carefully, ONLY those with Green cards, Foreign Workers with permits, and Americans living overseas have to pay anything in to the Govt.
The rest of the citizenry owes nothing.
----
The IRS has turned this on its head, and lumps WAGES into the first section...and that just doesn't exist.
THAT is why they say the tax is Voluntary.
Because AS A CITIZEN YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY TAXES ON YOUR WAGES. ONLY ON INCOME THAT YOUR MONEY EARNS.
SWEAT V MONEY
TAX V NO TAX
It's that simple.

I'm no accountant or tax lawyer, but I think there are more than two sections in the Tax Code.
