Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will attend a memorial service for the miners in Beckley, W.Va. The April 5 blast at the Upper Big Branch mine was the nation's worst coal mine disaster since 1970. Obama has ordered a sweeping review of mine safety records and called for stronger mining laws. If they did, well, they've controlled the House and Senate since January of 07...where's the legislation? Oh, sorry, forgot they want to shut down the coal mines via cap and trade, and 'green legislation'. Can't have those rednecks in WVA making an average of 62,500 per year with full benefits ya know, making money from 'dirty coal'. Whats really sad is these hypocrites have never seen a mine of any type, and wouldn't associate with a coal miner if you paid them.
