(CNN) -- Authorities in several Midwestern states were flooded Wednesday night with reports of a gigantic fireball lighting up the sky, the National Weather Service said. The fireball was visible for about 15 minutes beginning about 10 p.m., said the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin, just west of Milwaukee. "The fireball was seen over the northern sky, moving from west to east," said the NWS in the Quad Cities area, which includes parts of Iowa and Illinois. ...... "A large meteorite could have caused the brilliant fireball that has been reported," the National Weather Service said. " Only 2 possibilities: 1. Two aliens battled and one shot the other. 2. Actually, there is a frozen concoction in some of the craters near the poles. I have no idea what would be required to process it into usable H2O.

No, it goes from around +130C on the sunny side to -110C on the dark side. Myself, I'm trying to figure out how we got those probes to Mars without having a moon base, since Goldi says that's impossible.
