The March report on Georgias unemployment rate came out and once again, a record has been broken. According to the Georgia Department of Labor, the rate rose to a record 10.6 percent. This is up from 10.5 percent in February. Last year, the March rate was 9.0.
This makes 30 months in a row that Georgias unemployment has been higher than the national rate which is currently at 9.7 percent.
