To: Skip Intro (#0) I worked with Goldi and spent time AVOIDING her by hiding my coffee cup near the "hot water pot" - which I bought from our coffee fund. Waited for her to leave. Most guys submitted documents to her clerk Sharon to avoid Goldi or we dropped it on her desk when she was out. Note: Goldi was a document clerk at the time. She might have been called a document manager, SSDD, the company was under pressure from the first EEOC actions in the '70s and had to promote every minority while others were being laid off. The job "enhancement" didn't stop, it got worse. Despite her claim of being ex-MENSA which could be true, I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member. She was less discriminating. Goldi sat next to me univited at a management club meeting and I had to keep my head turned while eating and talking to avoid her. What really torqued my cookies and led to my OPUS to leave ElPee was when she claimed her clerk Sharon was shunned by guys after she watched the super porno tape showed at our Microwave Oyster Roast - to mostly management and also corporate directors. The girls in purchasing borrowed the tape and one per day it took a month to get it back. Sharon also was dated after the tape was public knowledge, unlike Goldi who I never saw at a either of the two formals or any other event with an escort. I call "Liar, Liar, pants on fire". Is selective memory worse in women? She also claimed to work at Bendix Radio, a company that had it's name changed to Bendix Communications about 14 years before she claims she started working there. As the lies add up, if you spoke with her, looked at the way she dressed and had to waste time avoiding her the reason ElPee is going down the tubes is obvious. I never knew she was Jewish when I worked with her, it wasn't an issue. We hired lots of Jewish people including a Holocaust survivor. A lot of our top engineers, same with Westinghouse, those guys wrote the Bibles on Filter Design, Radar, and other stuff like VHSIC. The stuff with Sharon was just one over the top. Sharon was liked, Goldi was shunned. My favorite younger tech from the pool dated Sharon well after the VCR tape. His Dad may have been there for the initial showing of the porn, I can't remember. Goldi must be in the state of De-Nile, she obviously doesn't know the history of the company she worked for, nor remembers who we were. She claimed two guys that hated her resided in a cubicle not only I shared but also a cubicle she inherited from an older guy who spent time in the same cubicle. These guys were younger than me, I avoided her, who needs BS from a woman who started PMS early, easier to avoid and lose less time. I actually made a friend of a tech who was less than perfect to say the least. We lost a lot of women to breast cancer back at Bendix, after the name changed many times. Probably because heavy metals from Baltimore rained in thru our filters and contained high levels of Cadmium, Beryllium, etc. I think our duct system was coated, the filters on the air handlers were changed every Wednesday. They were black and coated every week. Human Resources told the super smart engineer responsible for keeping the Patriot fuze at Bendix that these heavy metals raining down on his desk were not a problem. The HR guy had a problem keeping score on his golf card, and he knows about heavy metals? Her posts gave away too much personal info and I still didn't think she was smart enough. I had a list going because I had the LP management candidates narrowed down from 1500 employees to about a page but since there was only one Sally in the phone book and my first suspect that made it pretty simple. Her ex-dept. dumped her on us around '89 only two years after she was hired. The Argentinian was an ass-hound and she probably wouldn't put out or he sobered up. I blame him, he hired someone I wouldn't screw with your dick. He wasted my life time at my first management meeting trying to screw one of his female engineers, then tried to get me transferred to his department. Young guys are cheap and work uncompensated OT.
