MADISON, Wis. (AP) - An Alabama author who's spoken to white supremacists who believe slavery is ordained by god is scheduled to headline a Wausau tea party rally next week.

The scheduled appearance by John Eidsmoe at the same event where Jefferson County Circuit Judge Randy Koschnick is slated to appear has infuriated black leaders and those that monitor hate groups nationally.

Stephanie Findley is chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party's black caucus. She says reading some of Eidsmoe's speeches sent chills down her spine.

The Southern Law Poverty Center's research director Heidi Beirich says Eidsmoe has appeared before groups with racist and anti-Semitic agendas.

Koschnick says he didn't know Eidsmoe's background and he won't appear at the event if he's a racist.

If this is the best the AP can come up with to smear the Tea Partiers, they must be desperate!

And to think it was allowed on a 'Fox' news site. Oh the tragedy...

Damn it, THIS JUST IN!

Tea Party Speaker Withdraws From Wausau Event

Wausau Daily Herald • April 8, 2010

An Alabama author who’s spoken to white supremacists who believe slavery is ordained by god has withdrawn from a Wausau tea party rally next week.

John Eidsmoe had been scheduled to appear at the April 15 event along with Jefferson County Circuit Judge Randy Koschnick and other speakers. He withdrew from the event Thursday after being contacted by Wausau Tea Party organizer Meg Ellefson, who said she learned of his association with racist groups from The Associated Press.

“I was horrified to hear some of the things that the AP reporter provided,” said organizer Meg Ellefson. “We certainly don’t agree with those views.”

The fact that Eidsmoe was scheduled to appear infuriated black leaders and those that monitor hate groups nationally.

The Southern Law Poverty Center’s research director Heidi Beirich said Eidsmoe has appeared before groups with racist and anti-Semitic agendas.

Stephanie Findley is chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party’s black caucus. She says reading some of Eidsmoe’s speeches sent chills down her spine.

Koschnick earlier told The Associated Press that he didn’t know Eidsmoe’s background and wouldn’t appear at the event if Eidsmoe is a racist.

“I didn’t want to jeopardize the integrity of the event,” Ellefson said. “I didn’t want our other speakers to be linked to him. ... This is supposed to be about the Constitution.”

This nation is made up of many different backgrounds, and I'm sure that if you wanted dirt on any of them, no matter their affiliates, you can find it.

My family fought for the Confederacy, so big stinkng deal? It would be to anyone who wanted to smear me, or claim I have racist connections, which I do not, but it wouldn't stop these liars, usurpers and traitors....

I'm sure they'll find a dumb shmuck or two picking through the garbage, but in the end, all they have is the Race Card, and Lies...

The entire Democrat Party supports a man that was a Grand Kleagal of the Klu Klux Klan, and made him Senate Majority Leader. His name is Robert C Byrd, D West Virginia. He has more monuments, roads, schools and building named after him than Saddam did in Iraq.

When you protest his existence within the Democratic Party, get back to us, hypocrite.

Till then, you got nothing on this topic.

my anti groupie can't get through life without me.
