He was in the Navy and served on a carrier in peacetime. Or at least that is what he has claimed in the past. There has been some posters on LP who were also in the Navy that have questioned some of his claims about carrier duty because of what he wrote about it.
This is the first time I have ever heard him claim he was in or has seen combat.
