Look...it is very simple...Oswald gets Russian language and lifestyle training from the CIA ..defects...presumably betrays state secrets at the height of the Cold War but suffers 0 consequences for doing so. Why? THAT is the Oswald smoking gun. Throw all of the other crap out. WHY was he able to get back into the US with 0 consequences?
Did you see the damning evidence of him having a security clearance up to "confidential"?
Confidential? That's his high priced top level training clearance? You can't even be a postman for the Commander with that clearance.
The guy was obviously nothing more than an intelligent flake who slipped through the cracks for a while in the military at that time, and an embarrassed military quickly dispatched of him.
Idiots like war still want to imagine some great right wing conspiracy. Fairly, it's unfair to call the guy a left winger either as he was probably too confused to know what he beleived.
I don't see what he posts unless one of you cut and paste it, and ping it too me. And I'd rather ya didn't to be honest. Its never anything I haven't seen before.
As for the confidential security clearance, those of us that served understand thats required to take out non classified trash. To suggest that low of a level of security has 'meaning' in this context is laughable...but also instructive.
Consider what it implies about the person trying to use it in this manner. And what that tells you about THEIR level of 'expertise' on this or any other topic related to military related issues.
In that regard, its very useful. I had a TS because I was in communications. And a NATO 'cosmic' clearance, again because of my MOS (RM2). It took nine months before it was done and I was signed off on. For the entire time, end of boot camp til mid spring of 1978, I was confined to xerox'ing non classified materials for distribution to COMSUBLANT's staff. I later learned they really did talk to my kindergarten teacher, neighbors, etc.
That Oswald was a lowly troubled punk can't be disputed by anyone with an IQ over room temperature. For years I wondered about the possibility of it being a 'conspiracy'. I've long since concluded he got off one good shot, one bad shot, and one very lucky shot. ONce you actually walk Dealy Plaza, you realize something the old film clips and even the newer camera shots simply can't convey.
Its SMALL. Very very small - meaning Dealy Plaza itself. It was like shooting fish in a barrel, literally. No need to lead the target. No concern about wind affects. No worrying about earths rotation, temps, barometric pressure. With a rifle, damn near any rifle as Oswald's POS weapon of choice demonstrates, its a comment on his ability that he MISSED AT ALL.
What will always bothering me has nothing to do with the assasination itself. Its the way the Dallas PD handled Oswald after arresting him. Before Ruby killed him, and of course when that happened. They played for the media repeatedly. And then 'lost' the tapes/transcripts of his interrogations. That does trouble me when I consider this.
