Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) sends an email to his Campaign for Liberty list keying off of (though not explicitly citing) Jonathan Martin’s report on neoconservative Republicans fundraising to defeat his son, Kentucky Senate candidate Rand Paul. “The Neo-Conservatives are running scared,” writes Paul. “They are ramping up their attack machine and pushing every dime they can to Rand’s opponent.”
Going slightly off of Rand’s message — he’s been very successful convincing conservative voters that he’s not going to become a rabid anti-war vote in the Senate — Ron promises supporters that his son will “vote against undeclared wars.”

Dear Supporter,
Sunday, Government rammed the Health Care bill down our throats. But today is a new day.
Today is the day we tell Washington once and for all that we suffer their abuses no longer.
Today is the day we start the journey to reclaim our health freedom.
