There are degrees. Since most human beings are guilty of looking out for their own self interest (which can include "using" others), her definition - like I indicated - is rather broad. Personally, my definition is narrower. Obama certainly fits it, however.

But there are certain criteria and the pathological lying and confabulation, refusing to admit mistakes; not showing remorse for mistakes, omissions or when obviously caught in a lie; the admission of using people without their consent for ones own entertainment and probable fulfillment of other needs; all add up to one who has probably has had a somewhat dysfunctional life (but more so for those who choose to stay around him). They tend to look at other non sociopath types as being not much better than cattle. They recognize other sociopathic types and generally have no use for them, considering them as rival competitors. If the behavior is more impulsive, predatory and manipulative and has led to crime and need for corrections or punishment then it might even be considered psychopathological. A normal person would have just said they were mistaken or some such, but these types consider it a personal afront. .

I tried to get back to you earlier with a response and my FiOS jumper in some Verizon box snapped and took out the internet, phone and TV. Major PITA, they fixed it late this PM. Local radio guy addressed the CA population wrt the upcoming census. They should be losing seats because Americans are moving out, some fantastic number/month, but they most likely will gain seats if all the illegals are counted. See where CA is headed, Mexifornia. The census compliance rate is about 78% nationwide, the MD governor said we're slightly higher but statistically insignificant, like 79. Love the NFL free agent signings and contract signings. Money sounds real not super inflated like some stupid contracts for athletes. It's so easy to get hurt in the NFL these guys are smart to sign multi-year deals for less.
I think thats where my notion California's population has decreased came from, similiar views in columns and talk radio. As things stand, its a theory, no hard data to back up the 'gut feeling'. NO big deal. I'm surprised as to the average signing payout on free agents under the unique circumstances in the NFL too.
