ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque call center run by a Cincinnati firm will close in June, costing nearly 700 jobs.
Convergys, which has operated in the city since 2007, has a work force of 677.
The company says it will begin laying off employees starting March 31 and continuing through June.
The company says a client removed its program, and as a result, Convergys will wind down its Albuquerque operations in mid to late June.
Convergys says Albuquerque employees can interview for job openings at other company locations.
