To: A K A Stone (#86) You are correct...the lion's share of privacy fences built in Richmond, VA utilize pressure-treated, dog-eared, 6-foot, yellow pine 1x6 boards. Cedar fences exist, of course, but I'm not sure they are readily available at Lowe's and Home Depot. Definitely sure they don't carry cedar 2x4s and 4x4s for the structure.
