Very cool...back in the day, I used to spend my college summers and winters working for a company that refloored the naval ships moored in Norfolk and Portsmouth. I was a tile cutter and we had plenty of pipes, etc to cut around and we completed it using very similar techniques.
Awesome idea...done plenty of fences and the problem with pulling a string line is the tendency for the string to be inadvertently nudged upwards as you start making good time...MUD
LOL...that dude just went thru a workout. But I'm still not sure why the red-topped contraption worked at the end. Maybe a second viewing will clear up the mystery.
I figgered out the schtick, Stone...it's the half-toilet's design, which is not conducive to the traditional round plunger (see how it folds over ineffectually when applied). Not saying this guy's contraption won't work, but it ain't magic...MUD
