United States News Title: hurricanes and heat waves are Worse Last Plague # 4: Scorching Heat (Revelation 16:8-9) As predicted, 2024s Hurricane season and Heat-waves are More Deadly Flooding from Hurricane Helene in Tennessee Hurricane Helene: As of Oct. 7th, 230 people are known to be dead, and hundreds more are missing as a result of Helene, a category 4 hurricane, barreling through five states. It is estimated to have caused over $40 billion in damage, making it the third worst in deaths, and second worst (behind Katrina) for the most destructive hurricane in US history. It caused major flooding as far away as Tennesse. Asheville, North Carolina, in the Appalachian mountains and almost 300 miles from the coast, was the hardest hit, as tons of water and mud came roaring down from the mountains, and wiped out almost the entire town. Everyone in its path is saying the damage from Helene is apocalyptic, and they are absolutely right. Hurricanes waxing worse is a big part of Last Plague # 4, which is said to scorch men with heat. A warmer Earth, and especially warmer seas, is generating bigger storms. Bulletin: Hurricane Milton becomes the second Gulf hurricane to hit Florida in two weeks. (See p. 7 for more). Related news: August was Hottest Month in History. NOAH is reporting that August set the 15th straight record for the warmest month in history (based on world-wide average temps). 2024, they say, is likely to be the Earth's hottest year since the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. If the trend continues, it will be the end of the Earth as we know it by 2030 (predicted by scientists and signified by the Bible). The purpose of the last plagues, according to the Apocalypse, is to harvest the Earth (14:14-16) and destroy those who destroy the Earth (11:18). It leaves the meek to inherit the Earth as prophesied in the Gospels. Wildfires and Heat-waves wax Worse Over the last ten years, the U.S. fire season, caused by the scorching temperatures of plague # 4, has grown steadily longer. As have the heat- waves, especially in the western U.S. states, grown progressively longer, extending well into the fall. This year, the fire season began in the Texas Panhandle (as reported in the last issue of LDC). As of October 6th, there are 61 large or notable fires still burning in the United States, fueled by hot, dry and windy conditions in the south-western states. In Texas, 165 counties are now in a drought, and have issued a burn ban to prevent fires. Temperatures are also apocalyptic. As late as Sept. 6th, it was 100 degrees at midnight across much of California. Current temps, on October 6th when it is supposed to be getting colder, are a record 105 degrees in both Arizona and Nevada. About 39 million people in the region are under heat alerts, the National Weather Service says. Last year, 2300 people died from heat strokes in the US, and the death toll for 2024 is expected to be higher. World-wide, hundreds of thousands of people die from extreme temperatures every year, more than any other type of weather disaster, reports Scientific-American. Several equatorial nations (where people do not have A/Cs) are expected to be uninhabitable by humans by 2030, if the current trend continues. Elsewhere, severe rainstorms are plaguing much of the Earth, especially in the eastern US, and in Bulgaria and Portugal, and parts of Africa also caused by plague #4. Part of the reason for the severe flooding and mud-slides in North Carolina from hurricane Helene was the late summer rain storms that caused the ground to already be well saturated. Barry Midyet A solution? E-fuels plant coming to Bay City HIF Global has announced they will build a 540-acre complex near Bay City to extract hydrogen from local water using renewable energy from windmills. Then they will mix it with carbon extracted from the air to create methanol. The methanol will then be modified to create climate- friendly fuels for ships, planes and automobiles. (Continued on page 7) Solution to Runaway Heat (contd from p. 1) It is a proven concept, but it has never been done on an industrial scale. The HIF plant should be operational by 2027. Methanol-based e- fuels, an alternative to the slow- selling EVs, should go a long way towards saving the Earth. The Down-side: In related news, the Matagorda County Commissioners dropped the ball (in LDCs opinion) when they voted down a tax incentive for a new solar farm in the Midfield area, despite the land not being farmed currently. It is sad because the economy in Midfield, where my family hails from, will continue to suffer as people move away, and the Fire Dept.s budget dwindles. Incredibly (summarizing the Bay City Tribune), the reasons given were Theres no reason to fret about global warming, and "Fossil fuels will be around forever. Two questions: If theres no global warming, why is the once-productive land now sitting idle? And (2) why is scorching heat prophesied in the Bible? Does Jesus tell fibs? B Midyet The Kingdom of God does not come with observation ... It is within you. Jesus (Luke 17:20- 21) Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread |
