Poster Comment: How old is the ORTHODOX faith? If you are a Lutheran, your religion was founded by Martin Luther, an ex-monk of the Catholic Church, in the year 1517. If you belong to the Church of England, your religion was founded by King Henry VIII in the year 1534 because the Pope would not grant him a divorce with the right to re-marry. If you are a Presbyterian, your religion was founded by John Knox in Scotland in the year 1560. If you are a Congregationalist, your religion was originated by Robert Brown in Holland in 1582. If you are Protestant Episcopalian, your religion was an offshoot of the Church of England, founded by Samuel Senbury in the American colonies in the 17th century. If you are a Baptist, you owe the tenets of your religion to John Smyth, who launched it in Amsterdam in 1606. If you are of the Dutch Reformed Church, you recognize Michelis Jones as founder because he originated your religion in New York in 1628. If you are a Methodist, your religion was founded by John and Charles Wesley in England in 1774. If you are a Mormon (Latter Day Saints), Joseph Smith started your religion in Palmyra, New York, in 1829. If you worship with the Salvation Army, your sect began with William Booth in London in 1865. It has not changed since that time. Our church is now almost 2,000 years old. And it is for this reason, that Orthodoxy, the Church of the Apostles and the Fathers is considered the true "one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church." This is the greatest legacy that we can pass on to the young people of the new millennium.

Your "church" is so old that it died. A church is merely an assembly of believers. They sprang up everywhere as the apostles went out and the gospel began to spread. If God were working within your "church" I'd go there in a heartbeat. But God is not working within your "church". All you have are dead traditions you cling to in place of God. Oh, and your "church" is full of heresies. Oh, and those freaky robes...can't forget about those.

"Your "church" is so old that it died." Nope. Our Lord Jesus Christ promised that the gates of hell would never prevail against the Church, and it has not. Orthodoxy is flourishing. Here in Texas, while the people abandon your false, man-made, modern Protestant Churches - the Orthodox Church has grown by 73% in the past decade alone. My own parish just last month we celebrated our new building that we had to build to house twice the number of regular attendees as before. It is your false Protestant Church that is dying. Orthodoxy is growing worldwide as people learn that Jesus founded a Church that is still alive and well. Your Protestant heresy "churches", on the other hand... Jesus did not found a book club where people could pick and choose what they want to believe. Jesus Christ founded a Church, which the Bible (this was a collection of books canonized by the Church) says is the Body of Christ. And as I wrote above, the Orthodox Church is growing by leaps and bounds, because people know deep down inside that the real Church looks way more like this: than your false, modern, man-made, house of heresy you call a "church". "If God were working within your "church" I'd go there in a heartbeat. But God is not working within your "church". All you have are dead traditions you cling to in place of God. Oh, and your "church" is full of heresies. Oh, and those freaky robes...can't forget about those." You do seem to be obsessed with traditional Middle Eastern clothing. I know it will shock you, but the real Church was not founded in 20th Century America, it was founded over 2000 years ago in the Middle East where people still wear robes today. So while you think this is what a godly Church looks like: The truth is that the made-up denomination you go to today will be preaching the gay within 10 years, because it's what Protestants do:
The pictures you show are all masonic plants sent in to corrupt the churches. You could have easily included crypto mason Billy Graham. There was never just one church. Revelation records seven churches...there were many more. And they were all very unique. They never wore the golden gilded garb your false "priests" wear (to their utter shame). Your false priests wear on their bodies the equivalent of Tammy Baker's make up. Garish and crude, to call attention themselves and not to Christ. You still have not explained why you do not wear the golden robe. Your false church is growing because vomited out Christians are fed up with the evangelical churches. Not because you have anything to offer. Rather than stay with their local churches, and ask God for truth, wisdom and understanding, they take the easy way out by joining with the Orthodox. Like dropping out of school and joining up with the circus, just to avoid responsibility. The fallen away condition of the evangelicals is temporary. The lost condition of the Orthodox is eternal...unless you repent of worshipping your false church, and turn to receive Christ as your Savior. Consider my words carefully.
