We’re seeing the western political/media class bleating the word “unprovoked” in unison again, this time in reference to the massive multi- pronged operation launched by Hamas against Israel on Saturday morning which reportedly killed hundreds of Israelis.

“The United States unequivocally condemns the unprovoked attacks by Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians,” reads a statement from the White House.

That is correct: the attack was unprovoked, and the terrorists who did it are terrorists.

Yep.

Israel has an impossible task in front of it. They can bomb Gaza, and they can occupy it. But there are two million people there, they all hate the Jews and they will never change their minds. Whoever Israel manages to kill, there is a surging mass of people who hate them and who will simply replace them in the ranks. They can't kill them all, and they can't change their minds - and you can't bomb and shoot people into liking you.

What the US did in Germany and Japan - bomb them, but then rebuild them into equal economic powers. Israel could not do this in Gaza if they wanted to (and they don't want to).

So this is just another chapter in an endless cycle of hatred, killing and retaliation. It never will end, and nobody can ever win, not as long as Muslims have their Allah, and Jews have their Yahweh.

Franky, Israel is very rich, and heavily armed. It doesn't really NEED US aid shipped to it. The US politicians are falling all over themselves to do it because of their desire to be seen supporting Israel. This is partly because of the power of the Jewish lobby, and partly because snake-handing American Protestants have a fetish with the idea of Israel. Either way, it's a gesture, but it isn't necessary for Israel to beat Hamas. They are not on the threshold of defeat.

Ukraine, on the other hands, NEEDS Western aid. It is fighting Russia, biggest country in the world, and it will be overwhelmed without massive amounts of US and Western Allied support. Putting Israel first here is not in the best long-term US interest.

The aid package for Israel should have been kept tied to ongoing aid for Ukraine. Aid to Israel is nice, but aid for Ukraine is imperative, yet we have turned it right around. Foolishness.

Fetish is an apt description.

Evangelicals are calling for carpet bombing and genocide. What do you suppose Christ thinks of His church right now?

Here's the kicker: evangelicals do not care one wit about the people of Israel. Most do not know any Jews and probably would not like them if they did. All they care about is the fulfillment of a prophecy that allows them the least amount of suffering i.e. the pre-trib rapture.

Christians at this time are "Laodicean", that is, they believe themselves to be rich and have need of nothing, but they are in fact poor, blind, and naked (and stupid).

There won't be any pre-trip rapture. Why do they think there will be? Delusion. Fantasy.

Truth is, they'll all dwell in these fantasies, until they individually succumb of heart attacks and cancer. The world will not be ending. They will be, individually, as always.

Vicomte13  posted on  2023-11-11   23:11:29 ET  Reply   Trace   Private Reply

#14. To: Vicomte13 (#13)

There won't be any pre-trip rapture. Why do they think there will be?

Because the Scripture for a pre-trib rapture is compelling. Very compelling. I taught it for years.

Truth is, they'll all dwell in these fantasies, until they individually succumb of heart attacks and cancer.

It looks like they will cling to it to the bitter end. Most will not wake up until they stand before God at the judgment. They are, in fact, in a state of delusion.

Christians have waited for 2000 years in anticipation of Christ's return. Now that the moment is at hand they are looking away (with a bizarre kind of arrogance). I picture myself trying to inform the local pastors in the nearby villages and I always see myself being rudely and completely rejected. The Bible gives in-your-face clues/indicators on what to look for concerning Christ's return. Those clues are slapping us in the face and now all of a sudden...the churches are looking the other way, refusing to even consider them. Madness.

I do understand the spiritual problem because the Bible tells me what is happening, but that does not relieve my sorrow.

On the other hand, could the Great Tribulation actually occur if everyone was aware of it? I don't think so. Therefore, the condition of the churches is both necessary and prophesized, to allow the tribulation to happen.

The world will not be ending.

You live in a delusion yourself. And I understand why you do. The "end of the world" is shocking and horrific...who can look at it? Life as we know it...going way. Loved ones...dying. And the judgment...terror for those who have rejected Christ's forgiveness of sin. And this delusion of humanity is, of course, prophesized. It's right there in Scripture.

The world will end. It needs to end. We are approaching "as in the days of Noah" brutality. Corruption...off the charts. Suffering...manifold. The very earth is polluted and dying. God would be truly unloving if He does not step in and make it right again. But He must allow man the freedom to choose...God or the devil.

It's plain to see that mankind is choosing the devil instead of God.

there is no pre trib rapture. Jesus doesn't mention it on Matthew 24. You are confusing the second coming with it.

if you pre tribbers are wrong your doctrine will leave many people to accept the mark because they think they will be raptured out and it cant be the mark because the rapture happens first.

That is correct. The tribulation began in 2020...and we were not raptured. Obviously, I am no longer a "pre tribber".

if you pre tribbers are wrong your doctrine will leave many people to accept the mark

This is incorrect. The only thing that will occur is that believers will (hopefully) suddenly wake up to the fact that there was no pre-trib rapture. They will be momentarily confused/frightened, but they will not take the mark. What a dumb thing to say.

You are confusing the second coming with it.

The Bible teaches the rapture (resurrection), and it teaches the Second Coming. The rapture is the Church (both dead and living believers) going up to Christ in the clouds. The Second Coming is Christ coming down to the Mt. of Olives, returning to the same spot from which He left.

Jesus prefaced this verse with:

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Will you understand that this occurs at the mid-point of the Tribulation. He is directing His warning directly to the Jewish people of Jerusalem who suddenly realize they've been duped, that their lives are in danger if they disagree with the anti-Christ, and that they must flee to avoid the "great" tribulation? The very next verse:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

He's warning them of the second half of the 7 year tribulation and I believe in particular the opening of the Bowl Judgments.

what difference does it make if you die in the apocalypse at the end of the world, or die from a chest-clutcher tomorrow morning on the toilet? How does the particular manner of your death change what happens to you next?

It never made any sense to me why people look for signs of the end of the world. Each of our world's ends at some point, to accident or disease, and we go to Jesus for reward or judgment. So why care if that's tomorrow or at the end of the world?

The fact that it's the end of the world means that lots of people will die at the same time, But it's still the end of the world for you if it's just you dying on the toilet.

So why care? Seriously - what difference does it make?

Because Jesus commanded us to watch for His return...

Watch therefore...Mt.24.42

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Rev.16.15

Partly to prevent us from being deceived. Watching also prevents us from being ashamed by our "nakedness". See the churches, how shameful they, thinking themselves to be rich when they are poor, blind and naked. They are not obeying Christ's command to watch, and they are falling for every deceitful lie.

Btw, it's not the end of the world...it's the end of THIS world, this dispensation of grace. And it's not the end of life. We are merely ending this phase of the operation and moving on to the next.

I thought you went by what Jesus taught. Why did Jesus tell the apostles to "NOW LEARN" It seems to not make sense to you because you don't believe.

MATTHEW 24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Its obvious.

The first half of the trib has been rather benign. It is not obvious if you aren't looking.

You need to prove we are though.

I have talked about this at length. I'll lay it out one last time.

The most important indicator of the trib is the signing of the peace treaty spoken of in Daniel 9:27.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Since Trump is the one who signed the treaty he is also the anti-Christ. If you bothered to look there is a flood of evidence proving who he is.

He is also the rider of the White Horse of Revelation. Given a crown (as in "corona" virus), a bow (toxon=vaccine), and the mandates that conquered the world (house arrest enforced at gunpoint and a mask to show everyone's enslavement).

The 2nd Seal opened in Feb. 2022

And the 3rd Seal opened most recently...crushing inflation of the middle class.

The 4th Seal is incoming...the collapse of one quarter of the world's population (namely the Western nations).

You raise a valid point.

It seems unnatural that any peace treaty would be time constrained, so perhaps God is simply using the 7 years to key the treaty to the Tribulation.

the world hates Trump

Not really, and especially Israel and the Arab world. They love him and shower him with honors.

What we are seeing is Trump in the carefully orchestrated role of "suffering servant".
