Maybe some do, but most, I think, are completely sincere. It is certainly true that, without Trump and his appointments, and without the Republican Senate both approving his appointments and, previously, blocking Obama's appointment of Merrick Garland, that Roe would not have been overturned. If you're pro-life, Trump's propensity to appoint pro-life judges is the most important ally you have had, ever. If he thinks you're greedy, best rein in your greed a bit and show a course correction. Get into a war with Trump and he may lose, but if you're pro-life, so do you. It's about what you want to get, not ego. Make it about ego, and you end up losing. Everybody in politics has an outsized ego.
