On internet platforms that still allow free speech, there’s an unusual word being used to describe our current form of government: kakistocracy. A kakistocracy is defined as a government run by the worst people. Whether those people in positions of power are the worst due to their malpractice, corruption or infirmity varies on a case-by-case basis. Some manage to manifest all three at once.
