The little girl with cerebral palsy whose specially adapted tricycle was stolen from her apartment complex on Monday will get a new ride, courtesy of Wells Fargo. Bank officials pledged $2,000 today to replace the red, black and chrome trike, which was designed with Velcro straps on the seat and pedals, oval handlebars and other features that helped 7-year-old Marina Webb-Gordon ride safely. The money will go to the Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program in Berkeley, which will build Marina's new tricycle, according to bank spokesman Chris Hammond. The theft left Marina heartbroken because it was the only way she could go to the park, tag along with her friends and accompany her dad on bicycle rides, her family said. The tricycle, which originally cost $1,100, apparently was purchased by San Mateo County two years ago at the request of special education department officials and given to Marina's parents, David Gordon and Marika Webb. Webb said her daughter started shaking and crying when she discovered her tricycle was gone and kept asking why anybody would do such a thing. Anyone with more information regarding the whereabouts of the tricycle is asked to contact the Foster City Police Department at (650) 286-3300.

There is no such thing a a female God. God is male. It isn't the same God, it is a perversion. Wiccan = satanist, if they are ignorant of it or not. Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. All other ways are false and lead to separation from God for eternity......Hell.

The Bible is unique. It is the word of God. Have you ever read it? Yes it is my opinion, but a fact also. The Bible is unique because it has prophecies that have come to pass. Other reasons too of course. For example have you ever heard of the mark of the Beast?
the bible is not unique. there are many such texts in the world and they all claim to be the ultimate truth. you have chosen to belive that this particular text, and only this particular text, is the word of God. that is your personal opinion and nothing more. others will make different claims and feel just as strongly about the matter as you do. they can defend their position just as well as you can. the propehcies you speak of can - and are - interpreted in hundreds of different ways - your personal opinion is to interpret them in a particular manner. others interpret them differently. no offense, but you have nothing more here than personal opinion. something you chose to believe. others have different opinions and they feel they are just as correct as you feel you are correct.

Only the Bible is 100 percent accurate in prophecies, they are not open to private interpretations. there are hundreds of interpretations for each prophecy. you can get them at any religious book store. they are applied to both modern and ancient events. when applied to a historical event, both the prediction and the event are compared in hindsigt. pretty dubious proof.

i am not shilling for anything. I am just stating a fact. the hindu sutras can be shown to be at least five thousand years old. they exist on rock carvings from that period. there are similar artifacts from the buddist religion. the earliest Christian artifacts are from Egypt about 2500 years ago.

there are other texts that also talk about the black sea flood. gilgamesh is one. how do you know this one isn't the one true text? were you there? modern science has a nifty explanation for fossils as do many American Indian legends.
The fossils are found in the highest mountains, in deserts, all over earth. There is only one explanation. A global flood. We need another thread for this topic. we are kind of off the thread topic.

the bible was compile about 500 AD. i think the primary event was the concordance of worms - but i can't remember exactly. this is when the Catholic church decided which books to include and which books to toss out. i recally that lao tsu lived and wrote in about 500 BC. there is about a 1000 year difference.
Actuallly the manuscripts go back to the beginning. When the world was created. You can't predate that. Sure what we have today was handed down. God said it would be translated and spread all over the earth. That has now happened.

i was reading freedom4um and saw that you called pandora a witch. i don't think that is accurate. as far as i know she doesn't practice magic or any sort. she also has nothing to do with any sort of devil worship. i think she is primarialy interested in developing a body of beliefs that women feel comfortable with in their daily lives. many adults who have never been exposed to religion feel more comfortable with what she has to offer. people coming out of recovery houses and things like that. it actually does help a lot of people.
