Republican Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed an executive order Wednesday defining the terms man and woman, according to the governor’s office. The executive order says that sex is defined at birth and that women and girls refer to human females and men and boys refer to human males. It says that “inconsistencies” in court rulings and policies have led to the “endangerment” of single-sex spaces and resources that have led to a requirement to define the terms.
