Fourteen American cities plan to ban meat and dairy products, as well as all private vehicles, within the next seven years. Even electric vehicles are on the chopping block. The major metropolitan areas are part of a group known as C40, a self- described “global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis.”
