MUCH anticipated debate/discussion with Presidential candidate Mike ter Maat who is running as a Libertarian. We talked about Mike's personal philosophy and why he is running as a Libertarian. Seth and Jesse discuss banking, education, and powerful corporations in a contentious but constructive debate. We go over ideas like the 2008 financial crash, predatory banking, and different ideas for creating a better educational system. Seth asks Mike about campaign finance and they discuss private authoritarianism and power that large corporations hold over our lives in our private personal lives. It was a good back and forth between different market perspectives that found much disagreement but plenty of shared goals and values that we could find solidarity in. Hopefully this isn't our last conversation with Mike, we got cut short by our time constraints and will likely continue our discourse in a later episode. Click for Full Text!
