You're right for once. Bush was a much better Democrat President than Obama is.

the difference is that democrats were willing to work with him, they didn't oppose everything he did because they wanted to destroy him politically. Democrats never seem to understand that Republicans aren't interested in playing fair. The single biggest failure in Obama as a President are his silly efforts to keep trying to reach "consensus" with Republicans.
Being a Republican means you get to choose your own reality.
Do you genuinely think President "I won" is really interested in working with Republicans?
Yes, i think he actually believes in some sort of nirvana where folks put their political differences aside and compromise to achieve change that's in the best interests of the country. That's his Achilles heel so far. If you read about his tenure as head of the Harvard Law Review, he spent his time trying to build consensus among those with wildly different views. He's tried to do that throughout most of his career. It's killing him as President, the only times his poll numbers have turned around lately have been when he's called out the GOP for what they area - a bunch of hypocrites who oppose what they supported and who hope for a major terrorist attack on the U.S. solely because they are more interested in hurting Obama than anything else

He's never spent one second trying to implement GOP ideas. The GOP does not want a health care system that will only steal from Medicare to create an even worse system. All he does is talk down to them. OTOH, Bush had a political history of bringing the parties together, which was indeed a problem for him as well as a strength. If you read about his tenure as head of the Harvard Law Review I've never seen evidence he did a damn thing there. You "hero" is nothing but a black supremacist socialist racist as evidenced by his entire history.
