Legislation introduced by Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL), which calls on the White House to provide Congress with documents related to the war in Ukraine, passed a voice vote on Wednesday. The resolution is set to be voted on by the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Friday. Debate on the resolution was divided among party lines. The legislation, H.Res.300, calls on President Joe Biden to transmit, respectively, to the House of Representatives copies of all documents indicating any plans for current or future military assistance to Ukraine and documents indicating whether any United States Armed Forces, including special operations forces, are currently deployed in Ukraine.
