How much you wanna bet? The RATbots will claim this evidence ain't genuine...MUD
Right Since Birth!!
What is a ratbot? I believe you will believe anything your master tells you to believe. You seem to be of lower intelligence than some of the others that frequent this place.
Sorta like yourself.. Demanding tax cuts in a deficit situation.
Tax cuts are good. We are WAY OVER TAXED. The deficit was created on purpose so that our politicians rich buddies could reap a whirlwind of profit for ever off the interest payments. The deficit will NEFER BE PAID OFF. So we would never be able to have tax cuts if that was the case.
But if you spend with both hands and simultaneously cut tax revenue, you're reaping the benefit today and passing the bill to your children.
I love tax cuts.. for anyone. The reason being that, in theory, it defunds government. With less money to spend on stupid things, their size & scope will decrease by necessity.
What we have now is the opposite. We have an expanding federal presense and expanded federal spending. At the end of the day, someone has to pay for that.
I don't want tax cuts, I want fiscal responsibility. I want people to have to pay for their billion and a half dollar a week war, today.
If they had to foot the bill, as opposed to charging it to the federal credit card, I think you'd see a far less cavilier attitude regarding spending.
"What? You mean I'm going to have to pay for that? Shit no, forget it then!" Is what I want to hear.
People consider taxes in every other avenue and venture. When they buy a house, it's size and location are a consideration because of taxes. Large corporations go so far as to have a comprehensive tax strategy, which dictates the manner in which they behave. You see? People are concerned about taxes in every other facet of their personal and professional lives.. but when it comes to stuff from Government, they aren't concerned at all. I'd like to see that attitude changed and the cost of this nonsense taken seriously.
Ending federal witholding would also be a step in the right direction with regard to helping people to realize that if they want big government, drugs for grannies and hundred billion dollar wars, they're going to have to be willing to pay for it.
Lastly, IMVHO & from a moral standpoint.. if there's ANYONE who doesn't deserve a tax cut right now, it's the shills for Dubya and his free spending buddies. I don't want to hear a fucking word from that crowd. They've got ALL KINDS of stuff to pay for. They wanted it, they cheered for it, now it's time to write a check for it. They are the last people who have any room to talk about tax cuts.
Aside from National Defense, what "benefits" do you assume I get? Social security? Please let me opt out of the program...what else? I'm a net-payer to the Federal Leviathan, I ain't no RATbot swine...MUD
Demanding tax cuts ALWAYS, Frank...the problem with the deficit is too much damned spending, it's not a matter of inadequate revenues.
Of course it is.. but revenues are required to pay for all of this. revenues come from taxes.
Aside from National Defense, what "benefits" do you assume I get?
Frankly, I don't know.. regardless these things are not free.
The orwellian security is not free, the war, is not free.. nothing the government does is "free" Ever.
Take the example of ending frderal witholding. Does that reduce taxes? Well, no.. not in and of itself. What it DOES do is help teach people that big government isn't free and that it comes with a price tag attached. The idea is that they are supposed to write out that check themselves and become educated, yes? They are supposed to get pissed off and demand a reduction in Government and, accordingly, in their taxes, yes? That's right, isn't it?
This tax cut thing is merely teaching that same, vital, lesson from a different angle. The same point is being made.. Which is, simply: "If you want something from Government, today... you'd better be willing to pay for it, today. Don't think you're going to foist it off on little Billy. After all, he's only three years old. You want it, you pay for it and you will do it today."

I've supported this notion for a long while, and as a small businessman, I've been making quarterly payments for years...I know EXACTLY how much BigGuv'ment is stealing from me every three months!!
The more folks realize this ongoing pain, the more folks will rally to the cause of decreasing spending...MUD
I've noticed that before lurking at this site. The boy is either seriously on the government titty. Or he is part of the problem. In any event. I need people to join me in our battle that must take place to rid our country of those who are destroying it. Are you part of this great cause?
