It is generally accepted that CO2 levels are, in part, driving global warming. While I would agree that this is the case, my intuition tells me that the effect of CO2 levels in the range at which they exist in our atmosphere presently has very little to do with climate. I cannot discount a possible contributing effect of CO2, but I believe that the current perception that rising carbon dioxide levels are the central factor that is driving the destruction of our biosphere is unfounded and illogical.
