By 2030, We Will be able to Prevent Most Disease -- And Arrive on Mars, the New Earth with No Seas
We Can Stop Cell Deterioration, Someday Become a Millennian?
The Bible and many scientists say that man will soon conquer most diseases and be able to live to be 1000 years old. Israeli scientists have already tested and proven a way to keep our cells from aging (a major cause of death) using cryogenics. In the US, the Salk Institute has tested a different method on mice that is less intrusive and equally effective.1
But we must also come up with a way to prevent another leading cause of death – that is cancer.
Once thought impossible, many scientists are now saying that virtually all cancers will be preventable by 2030. Vaccines to prevent certain types of cancer already exist. They are the hepatitis B virus, which can trigger liver cancer, and human papilloma virus, which causes cervical and some other cancers.
But most cancers are not caused by viruses, and are caused by a set of defective genes known as the Lynch syndrome. A new vaccine trial will be one of the first clinical tests of a vaccine to prevent nonviral cancers. The idea is to deliver into the body bits of antigens from cancer cells in order to stimulate the immune system to attack any malignant growths.
The concept isn’t new, and it has faced skepticism in the past because it is difficult to attack only the antigens associated with cancer cells and skip the healthy cells. But the Lynch vaccine only targets “neoantigens,” a potent type of antigen that is only found on the tumor cells. (Source: science.org)
The future is so bright that many scientists are saying that within ten years we will be able to prevent most cancers. And with simultaneous advances in geriatrics, some children alive now will live to be a thousand provided they can avoid a fatal accident. But even then, researchers are on the verge of being able to raise humans from the dead. The U.S. Army is working on a drug called LY294002 that can raise soldiers to life after suspended animation of up to three days. – BM
We will someday Colonize Mars By Harnessing Fusion Power?
From www.quora.com: The promise of nuclear fusion (that powers the sun) is not inexpensive electrical energy or great technical advances. There are both trifling matters often told to the general public who are unable to comprehend what awesome gains fusion power really offers.
Fusion would enable humans to maintain an industrial civilization on Earth or elsewhere, indefinitely and independent of abundance of any ore or material. That is the true promise of fusion. The only limiting power left to us would be water and our supplies of water on Earth. Even if we use 10,000 times the energy we currently do, it would impact us less than continental drift does. This does not factor in the possibility of importing water for fusion from elsewhere, like the moons of Jupiter, where large supplies of water lurk.
This is the promise of fusion power. Yes, it’s clean and offers essentially an infinite amount of power just about anywhere on Earth. Sure, that’s great and all, but it pales with the fact the term “finite resource” can be consigned to history. We wouldn’t even need the Sun anymore. It is sure nice to have one, but we wouldn’t need it. §
That agrees with the Revelation of the future. After global warming and the other plagues are solved by nuclear fusion, which is non-polluting and dirt-cheap compared to other energy sources, there will be heaven on Earth for a thousand years.
Then the long-feared M.A.D. war occurs, and the earth is burned up and everyone on Earth dies (as prophesied by both the Bible and Elon Musk).
No problem. By then man will have ventured to a new earth with no sea, that is, Mars. We will arrive there by 2030 Elon Musk says (and Bible eschatology indicates). Moreover, there will be little need for the sun because we will have nuclear fusion by then that is capable of supplying enough power and breathable oxygen for a giant habitat up to 1200 miles high – the New Jerusalem – provided there is a (underground?) source of water as both NASA and the Bible indicate. – Barry Midyet
