In 2023, Much of the Earth will flood (Prediction 1 -- Rev. 16:8-9) In every issue of the LDC, usually on page 1, is a featured article about plague # 4, scorching heat. It is clearly being fulfilled more fully every year. Yet there are (still) a lot of science-deniers out there (and most of them are Trump supporters). Most disturbing, most of them profess to be Christians which indicates even most Christians have never read the Revelation to John (aka the Apocalypse).
Since the last issue, Pakistan has seen the worst flooding. Caused by a massive heat wave which in turn led to melting glaciers and a worse than normal monsoon season, the flooding has taken over 1700 lives.
And in many other parts of the Earth there was massive flooding, and especially so in Afghanistan, causing heavy property damage plus hundreds of deaths.
In the U.S. and Caribbean waters, after a brief lull, hurricanes have returned due to warmer water as we near the end of the La Nina cycle. Hurricanes can be expected to wax worse in 2023 and cause thousands of deaths and billions of dollars in property damage.
Worldwide, deaths and property damage from flooding due to global warming will escalate, and whole Island nations will be abandoned due to rising seas.
We should all pray that the climate talks now underway in Egypt will be fruitful. The previous goal of holding global warming to 2.0 degrees C has already been blown past, and the new goal will reportedly be 2.7 degrees (Centigrade), past which there is no return.
-- While Rest of Earth is Scorched
Used to be that the U.S. fire season only lasted through December. This year, in the first week of November, 19 new large fires were reported. So far this month. 45 large fires have burnt 11,358 acres.
So far this year in the US, 61,300 wildfires have burnt 7,251,833 acres. This is the most wildfires reported to date in the past 10 years in the US. In Europe, wildfires are at a 15 year high. And it is much the same around the world. Wildfires in the Brazilian rainforest, the Earth's biggest, were at a all-time high.
The worst thing about wildfires is, a green tree throughout its lifecycle, soaks up tons of CO2. When it burns, it releases all of that carbon back into the atmosphere. The massive wildfires we are seeing will make global warming worse than it already was, and accelerate plague # 4, the scorching of men.
The escalations of wildfires can be attributed to science-deniers such as Donald Trump who withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Agreement agreement. That's probably the main reason he lost his reelection bid -- not fraud. Other deniers who were voted out recently include Bolsonaro in Brazil and Liz Truss in Britain, providing hope for the survival of the Earth and its inhabitants.
President Biden has brought us back into the Paris agreement, but we lost two valuable years. Worse, the Paris agreement gas proven too weak. Expect wildfires around the world to worsen and widen in '23.
