Republican candidates lead Democrats by nine points in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot. The new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 45% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 36% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. Voter support for GOP congressional candidates is up one point from last week, while support for Democrats held steady.

Correction: Rasmussen OutLIEr Reports
Day 1 of Packrat refusing to register here.
I guess Rasmussen was the outlier during the 2008 election when he predicted Obama would win by 6 and NY Times/CBS News and others had him winning by double Digits. Before the last election, Rasmussen had the Democrats up by about this much. Was he an outlier then?
