It's now a MAJORITY of voters, including one-third of the nation's Democrats, who are waiting for Joe Biden to be impeached.

Paul Bedard at the Washington Examiner cited a new Rasmussen Reports assessment that found voters "by a margin of 52%-42% support impeachment."..................

I don't believe it.

In any case, we should not be impeaching Presidents because we dislike them. You impeach them for grave crimes. No President in our history deserved to be impeached.

It should not be used as a political tool.

But it is.

"No President in our history has deserved the be impeached..."

I beg to differ, my friend...during Clinton's reelection bid in 1996, Slick Willie and his fellow DeeCeeRATZ won in no small part due to multi-$Millions in Illegal campaign donations from the Chinese Communist Party. In exchange for this crucial boost to the RAT-machine, the Clinton Administration authorized Loral Corporation to share highly-classified information regarding the targeting technology of Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile systems that allowed the Chi-Comz to accurately target American cities along the West Coast for nuclear annihilation.

We knew this then, and the RINOZ in the House focused their Impeachment efforts on Lewinskys and perjury, but DemRATZ SELL-OUT to our Number One World Adversary is pure TREASON, and certainly worthy of Impeachment, Conviction, and Removal from office, imho.

" No President in our history deserved to be impeached. "

So Vic. I will grant you that Bill Clintoon should not have been impeached for the Monica affair, a BJ.

However, Clintoon gave the Chinese American nuclear technology, he allowed the Hughes Corporation, and the Loral Corporation to solve their problems, improved their guidance systems, and gave the Chinese MIRV technology, and Clintoon took money from the Chinese and both corporations, and he allowed Chinese agents into American facilities ( Los Alamos )and did nothing while they were stealing American tech. All of which allowed the Chinese missile program to advance from primitive firecrackers to a advanced nuclear threat !

Those sound like damn good reasons Clintoon should have been impeached ! Don't you agree Vic ?

Nope. The President decides what American national interest IS. If he decided that interactions with China were in American interest, no one with a differing opinion has the power to override his view, sorry.

I/m not. I'm a constitutionalist. The constitution is not a toy for partisans to play with. You don't impeach presidents because you hate their politics; it takes real Spiro Agnew type crimes. Andrew Johnson did break the law, though for a constitutional reason. Should he have been impeached? Probably not. Ruchard Nixon was not impeached, but the threat was there, for the Watergate break in (which he didn't authorize) and the cover up, which he actively participated in. Should he have been impeached for that? Probabaly not. It's too small beer. Clinton was impeached for a BJ. Ridiculous. And China policy is within the purview of the President to set. There is no "master policy" above the President and above everybody, which lets you impeach officials for violating some "ultimate truth" about the United States. No! The truth is, the President sets foreign policy. To impeach him over foreign policy because you don't like the policy, or him, turns us into a banana republic.

Both impeachments of Trump were of that caliber, and were absolute jokes.

Impeachment is not just a way of removing a political opponent because you have the power to do it. Or maybe that's what it has become now, but if that's so, our republic is immeasurably weakened by such utterly petty and short-sighted policy.

The people elect the President. They can throw him out in four years if they don't like the policy. That's it. To impeach him takes SERIOUS crime. A difference of political opinion about foreign nations is not a crime AT ALL, and impeachment should never be even talked about for that.

Now, impeachment is just a matter of having the votes. The public held the Republicans responsible at the polls for impeaching Clinton, but they did not hold the Democrats responsible for impeaching Trump, twice! Maybe they will this November. I certainly hope so.

"Clinton was impeached for a BJ. Ridiculous."

Clinton was GUILTY are far worse IMPEACHABLE CRIMES than getting Lewinskys, and it is the weak-kneed RINOZ who dominate "OUR" side of the DeeCeeSwamp who refused to hold Slick Willie to account. We will soon find out that TraitorJOE BIDENZ even more compromised by his foreign entanglements than the Clintons continue to be. TraitorJOE--and those who put words into his mouth--are NOT to be trusted by WeThePeople. Dem Bidenistaz do NOT have OUR Country's best interests in mind, and Biden shall RESIGN just before we get around to IMPEACHING the RAT-bassTURD!!

Trade policy with China is the President's prerogative. Opponents may not like it, but that's too bad. You don't get to impeach the President because you don't like his policies. He has the power.

The DID impeach him, twice, and were asshats for doing so. The Republicans should not go into the gutter with them. Rather, the Republicans should politically defeat them and then keep them out of power BECAUSE they impeached Trump.

Example> Biden, right now, just said unambiguously that the US WILL intervene and fight if China invades Taiwan. Period. No strategic ambiguity.

His staff has tried to walk that back a few times, but he keeps saying it. His own STAFF does not like the policy, and pretends that the policy is something else. Truth is: foreign policy is what the President of the United States SAYS foreign policy is. If the entire cabinet and and state department disagree that one aye versus 1768 nays. The ayes have it.

Vicomte13  posted on  2022-09-22   8:21:41 ET  Reply   Trace   Private Reply

#14. To: All (#13)

That is what being President IS. You do not just execute foreign policy. You SET it.

Vicomte13  posted on  2022-09-22   8:22:52 ET  Reply   Trace   Private Reply

#15. To: All (#14)

Foreign policy is NOT set by Congress and by Law. Congress has no authority to set it. Congress can vote unanimously that the US will support Russia. If the President says NO, the President, alone, overrides all of Congress. Congress does not set foreign policy. The people do not set foreign policy. The government agencies do not set foreign policy. The Constitution says that the President sets it. And that's the way it is.

Now, if the President is against the whole country, that means that, if it's important enough to the people, he loses the next election. But THAT is the control. Not impeachment. "I don't like the President's foreign policy" is not grounds for impeaching him.

Even if you impeach him you don't hace the votes to remove him. Trump ws impeached twice by the Democrats. Nobody cared because he could not be removed.

My hopes ain't exactly "UP" thinking about Ol' KamelToez as POTUS, but I do not foresee TraitorJoe completing his full term. After the RATZ get blown out in a coupla weeks, the Swamp will need a scapegoat and they will throw Joe under the bus and I expect he will resign for health reasons (cancer of the throat is my prediction) and it will be interesting to see how they maneuver around making Kamala Harris the PRESUMED DemocRATic nominee for POTUS in 2024...MUD

After next Tuesday, the Democrats will scream "Stolen Elections!"...or they will actually steal the elections. If THAT happens, then we need to have a civil war at once, and the military needs to not back the Democrats.

I do not disagree...still, I believe the GOPers know where and how DemRATZ are cheating, and they should have their guard up. Still not sure what's up with the PA electorate. I mean, Dr. Oz has RINO written all over him, but Festerman is a freak of nature, a literal "Troll" like we saw in Tolkien's LOTR. And his legislative agenda makes zero sense...that said, most polls still give him a lead...smh.
