Democrats are facing a nightmare scenario with about six months to go before the midterm elections. Inflation, immigration, the war in Ukraine and the still-lingering COVID- 19 pandemic make for a dreadful political atmosphere for President Biden’s party. The problems are compounded by Biden’s weak approval numbers and the historical pattern whereby a president’s party typically loses seats in the first midterms of his tenure. Some Democrats believe a turnaround is still possible, or at least that losses can be kept modest...........

You know what they say, "One man's Biblical Disaster is another man's--MUDZ--dream come true!!" If DemRATZ see this Reckoning approaching in November, why don't they change course, and veer off their Marxist, anti- American, anti- WeThePeople path before the elections in November? Follow the money...the Marxist wing of the DemocRATic Party is p'OWNed by the Communist Chinese Party and screwing over WeThePeople who make America work is what Socialism aka Marxism aka Communism aka Progressivism does best. Otherwise, DemRATZ wouldda insisted that TraitorJoe Biden re-open the spigot to American domestic oil production the moment we all saw the fuel prices steadily grow. Abortion could save them, as can voter fraud. It won them the last election.
Abortion could work for them to some degree, and could work against them also. Massive cheating / election fraud / Dominion will be the kill shot ! I initially thought abortion would work for them a great deal more than I think now. Truth is, the Supreme Court striking down Roe just returns it to the states, and 30 of the states already have laws in place that continue Roe, more or less intact. Some states restrict abortion more. I don't think that ANY state has passed a law that outlaws abortion outright (I may be wrong on that). Some, like New York, have passed laws LESS restrictive than Roe was. So, Roe's passing will be a non-event as far as the law goes, but lots of people are suffering under terrible economic policies, and tired of the level of incompetence. I no longer think that Roe will save the Democrats. It will just make the crazies crazier. Electoral fraud would help them a lot, but there's no COVID, and this time people will be more aware, I think.
Voter fraud, perhaps...but not abortion. DeeCeeRATZ are all about unfettered abortion up to the moment of birth, regardless of the viability of the Unborn Human Child. Not even the RAT-media can make that look like a pretty argument to make for the anti-American Marxists who now control the DemocRATic Party...MUD

So you are now copying what I said. Your instincts were off again. Mine weren't. There is a lesson there if you choose to learn it.
The election hasn't happened yet. We'll see what happens. I am hopeful that I am wrong. Doesn't mean I am. Once I'm wrong, I have no problem admitting it - not much ego there.
It seems you are wrong here and I was originally the one who was wrong and you were originally right. Unfortunately.
I don't know. I think that things on abortion are exactly as they appear. The country is split 52/48, in favor of abortion. But it varies widely by state, and the Supreme Court has sent it back to the states to decide. I think it will stay there for a long time. It is true that those adamant for, and against, abortion are going to vote that way, and that may give some advantage to the Democrats. I do think that fire will die down, as abortion remains legal in liberal New York and California, and is outlawed in conservative Alabama and Louisiana.
