While I share your cynicism vis a vis the RATmedia, Putinz looking pretty sorry so far. Like a schoolyard bully taking advantage of the Grownups' absence to start pounding on much-smaller classmates, the bully comes off.bad in the eyes of onlookers. I reckon we will find how many of President PootyTootz (please help me find a more demeaning moniker to hang on this tinpot dictator) fellow despots will publicly support Russia's bloody aggression in Ukraine when they cast their votes in the emergency UN meeting being held today. If it is only Iran, Syria, North Korea, and China, we will have our easily- recognizable international Axis of Evil, and we shall then proceed accordingly.
Fact is, I see video of anti-war unrest in Moscow and I realize this is a great way to establish a clear US versus THEM global mentality, and turning Russia (and China, next) into international pariahs and eventually economic orphans will ultimately benefit all Lovers of Freedom and Self- Determination.
OTOH, Putinz increasingly erratic behavior is quite worrisome considering his lack of contradictory voices in his inner circle and his ready access to the nuclear option...MUD
BTW...the true Sleeping Giant in this whole ordeal is the growing anti-Putin movement growing within the borders of Russia. This is Putinz War...how many young Russians will need to die to grow Putinz legacy? And how many yachts must Russian oligarchs acquire to waterski behind?
