2022 (and Beyond) in Bible Prophecy by Barry Midyet

Here are my annual predictions as I have done since 1992 But as always, I must add my standard qualifier:

These predictions are based on the Bible and cannot fail to come true But I may be ahead of God’s timetable by a year or two.

1. The plague of skin cancer will spiral to an end, And cures for some other cancers will be found. (Last plague # 1 – Rev. 16:1-2)

2. In the USA, fish-killing red tides will begin to let up, As fertilizer run-off lessens and some dams are blown up. (Last plague # 2 – Rev. 16:3)

3. Deadly water in our faucets will continue for a few years, Until lead pipes are gone and fowling of our springs disappears. (Last plague # 3 – Rev. 16:4-7)

4. We will increasingly be scorched with heat for the next decade or more, Until carbon-spewing fuels like coal are replaced with cleaner power. (Last plague # 4 – Rev. 16:8-9)

5. We will continue to see deadly new pathogens for a decade or so, Until global warming, antibiotic abuse (and darkness) are under control. (Last plague # 5 – Rev. 16:10-11)

6. Ar Mageddon will continue for a while, but the good guys will prevail – When the last terrorist succumbs to the plague of exceedingly great hail. (Last plagues 6 & 7 – Rev. 16:12-20)

7. Two thousand years after the resurrection of Jesus, the Day of the Lord will dawn. Twenty-four elders will join Him on His throne and rule the Earth with a rod of iron. (millennial Kingdom of God – see Rev. 2:26-27; 4:4; 20:4; 22:1-2)

To: interpreter Are you open to the increased SAFE use of nuclear energy to power our electrical grid?

Seems to work for France and others.

Being from Bay City and having worked at the STP nuclear plant at one time, and being a whistle-blower who had a hand in shutting both units down back in Feb of '93, I do know a thing or two about nuclear power.

Don't know about the two in Bay City, but overall, the nuclear plants in general are pretty safe now days.

What the problem was in Bay City (and still is), the Nuclear plants need large amounts of water for cooling the reactors, and they use water pumped from the lower Colorado river. Most years there is plenty of water available but not always. That fall/winter there was a drought, and because the intake pumps are only a few miles from the Gulf and the Bay, and because there are 15 dams upriver, there was almost a meltdown.

That's because the intake pipes were putting salt water through the reactors' delicate cooling coils. The plant was closed for a year while the rusty pumps, pipes and coils were replaced. These days, it's even worse (potentially) with San Antonio also taking water out of the Colorado river.

But last winter there was a different problem. The cooling water froze, again shutting down the nuclear plants. A lot of people in the Houston area froze to death because they had no electricity for heat for four to five days.

So you see, while nuclear power as a whole is relatively safe, the weakest link is the large amount of cooling water required, which is especially true in Bay City. I am one of the few people in Bay City who were happy that the permitting of two additional reactors fell through. If they were to build them upriver or better yet, on another river without all the dams (maybe the Brazos) I would be OK with it.

Another problem is the cost. Nuclear plants cost billions and only major cities (like Houston) can afford them.

Barry Midyet

PS, I'm pretty sure France doesn't try to cool their nuclear reactors with salt water. The French have some common sense and that's why their stuff works.

To: interpreter Thank you for the link and the explanation, Barry...the clarification of the contribution of the poor soils makes more sense than the thought of sea levels rising 12 or 18 inches, because that 12-18 inch rise has to be planet- wide, and that simply has not been the reality.

I own some rental property on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and that series of barrier islands is constantly changing, as bad storms claim oceanside properties in one area, while further down the beach sand will pile up and increase the beach width. I think Galveston might be undergoing a similar process.

Regards...MUD

I think that article must have been talking about the part of the county where I live -- the Kemah area. Everyone around here is talking about the sea-level rising 18 inches since mid-century. But (according to the article), 8 inches of that is subsidence. (Not worried though cause my boat floats).

While it varies place to place, Worldwide the sea level has rinen a little over 8 inches (according to NOAH). But it is not uniform largely due to changing ocean currents (also related to global warming).

There's a lot of that going on around here also -- overall its mostly beach erosion, and especially Sargent Beach where today there's only 100 yards remaining between the gulf and the intracoastal canal (when there used to be a couple miles). Galveston is not as bad, and when sand is lost during a hurricane, they simply pump in some some more, usually when also the ship channel needs to be dredged (of excess sand). (Gotta keep the tourist industry and the shipping industry going). But if the present trends continue unchecked, Galveston will need a bigger seawall. A multi-billion-dollar "Ike Dike" has been proposed.

PS, I've got a lot of relatives living on the Outer Banks. I hung out there for a couple weeks one summer tracing the family tree and meeting some distant cousins. Great place.

I love the Outer Banks, after Telluride, CO, the second-best place I have ever visited. Would not be the least bit surprised if I end up living there permanently some day. I fell in love with the pace of the place back in June of 1981, as me and my three best buddies rented a room there for a long weekend after graduating from Kempsville High School. We not only got into a full-blown BRAWL at the once- infamous Atlantis Bar and Grill, but we also finished off a full keg and 3 more cases of Budweiser between the four of us...lol. Life was simple back then...40 years later and I have been to the OBX at least once per year every year since...MUD

Anyhow, my commentaries and predictions are based on the words of Jesus, not Paul. He changed the true Gospel into Paul's version, which led to the twisting of the teachings of Jesus. You need to read what St. Peter said about Paul and his hard-to-understand babblings. (See 2 Peter 3:15-16).

Jesus is signifying the extremely great hail dropped from F-15's and F-18s etc. on Iraq and Afghanistan, Syria, et al after Hussein dried up the Euphrates at the beginning of this millennium in order to prepare the way for Ar Mageddon -- which the Koran says the Muslims will win, but the Bible says otherwise.

It's the final battle between good and evil, and concludes the seven last plagues. When all the bad guys are dead, a thousand years of heaven on Earth commences.

Well, when I was there, I had a wife and baby with me, and did't get to check out the bars much. Now that my girl is grown and is wanting to know more about the family tree, we will probably revisit Nags Head at some point (when she has some time off).

On Galveston beach, on Sunday mornings, I hang out at the Tipsy Turtle (and Baptize converts in the Gulf). Afterwards, we (who are old enough) commune over a beer, and not wine, which they don't serve. I generally use red beer though (made with grapes). (But not so much in the winter if the water is too cold).

Well, COVID-19 is the latest one of a whole bunch of new diseases, beginning with AIDS, the first one. And I'm pretty sure that most of the guys who died from AIDS were NOT following God's wiil -- they were homosexuals which is an abomination to God.

That's just one example. The scary new diseases are designed to punish us (and especially those sitting in darkness), and cause us to examine our lives and repent.

I forgot to mention that In the case of STP in Bay City, they were originally planning on using the Toshiba-built nuclear reactor, which has experienced some problems in Japan -- another reason the permit was not granted. But the main concern is an ample supply of water.

As for desalination of salt water, I don't think that's been tried in my neck of the woods. It has however been successfully put to use in Israel where fresh water is in short supply. It's expensive though.

And thank you Mudboy for engaging in an inteligent conversation and not slinging "mud" (Cant resist a good pun)

It's an Adam and Eve thing. The earliest writing, discovered in the Garden of Eden (now Iraq) and dating to around 5000 BC (around the time of Eve), says "fermented grapes + barley + hops." That's how beer used to be made (by the women in Mesopotamia, who just loved the forbidden fruit covering the tree of knowledge.

It was the tree of knowledge because, from then on we were no longer dumb monkeys cause we pass down knowledge from generation to generation through the written word. It was not long before the first cities sprang up. One of them was Ur, where Abraham was born.

But yes, I guess you could also say its a Texas thing. There's a brewery in Austin that makes 10 different kinds of red beer -- brewed from ten varieties of grapes. But they are not marketed outside of Austin.

The best one that's available nationwide (in my humble opinion) is George Killian's Irish Red. (Originally brewed only in Ireland but now marketed by Coors).

But like God warns us, consuming too many fermented grapes can indeed kill you, so please drink responsibly.

Cheers,

Barry

o: interpreter Re: prediction #3, does the "fouling of our springs" mean you are anti-fracking or do you believe we can do responsible fracking that will NOT befoul our underground aquifers?

Wel, I wasn't thinking about fracking per se, and being in Texas and having some friends and relatives in the oil business, I dont want to single out that one aspect. But oil companies do need to be responsible stewards of the environment including the underground water supply.

Some of the towns who get their drinking water from underground aquafiers are now testing for various carcinogens in their water and its scary what they are finding. A little town not far from here, Aleif, is reporting a lot of Chromium 6 in their water, evidently seeping in from nearby Refineries and chemical plants. The residents there have a very high incidence of once-rare cancers appearing.

Barry

PS, a lot of the cancers we are seeing these days used to be rare. So yes, like the Bible says, I do think there are some deadly things present in our water. (And the only safe water is distilled water).

To: interpreter were no longer dumb monkeys

We never were "dumb monkeys"

You sound lost.

You sound like the one who is lost, without a clue as to how we got here. Have you ever opened a science book?

Like the Bible, scientists divide the creation of the Earth into six time periods (or "yoms" in Hebrew). In the sixth time period, the Cenozoic period, God created all of the land animals we see today, including monkeys. In the last part of the sixth yom (or time period) God created modern man in the Garden of Eden (called Mesopotamia by archeologists). He did it by providing fermented grapes and then telling a semi-intelligent monkey (or hominoid) named Eve not to eat them because they can kill you. But He also told her and Adam the forbidden fruit would give them knowledge and long life. God knew that Eve would not be able to resist such a temptation, and the rest is history.

So you see, science and the Bible agree 100% -- with the exception of Paul's hard-to-understand epistles, which, like Peter said, people twist to their own destruction.

Well, Coors is not exactly a microbrewery. George Killian's is available in some grocery stores, and in the bigger liquor stores. A couple other red beers (made with red grapes) are brewed by the Dogfish Head brewery and available in some liquor stores and bars that specialize in "craft beers."

But as for my taste buds, the red beers brewed by Jester King (in Austin) and DogFishhead (in Delaware) are a little too strong. But they also have more alcohol (similar to wine), somewhere around 8 percent I think. George Killians is around 5.7 % and goes down easy (like a beer, but with a fruity taste.

Red beers (and red wines) also give you long life because of the good- for-you oxidants found in the skin and seeds of of red (or purple) grapes. People who drink red beer or red wine with every meal live, on average 5-years longer than the average person. For more on this, see Pterostilbene.com

cheers, Barry

As for Coors Brewery, I have always enjoyed the taste of a cool "Kerr's", as my Kansas cousins pronounce it; however, I cannot stand the taste of Coors Light because it tastes too fruity to me. But if it is made from grapes, I think I can learn to appreciate the fruitiness.

To: interpreter The time periods were days you dumb piece of shit.

You're not my brother. You're a piece of shit deceiver who loves to boast about imaginary prophet status.

You must like fucking monkeys loser.

The word translated as "day" in most English Bibles is actually "yom" in the original Hebrew which means "time period." Even if it literally means a "day", a day with God is not one of our 24-hour days as on Earth.

97 % of our genes are identical to a Chimpanzee's but some of us are smarter than the average monkey
