2022 (and Beyond) in Bible Prophecy by Barry Midyet

Here are my annual predictions as I have done since 1992 But as always, I must add my standard qualifier:

These predictions are based on the Bible and cannot fail to come true But I may be ahead of God’s timetable by a year or two.

1. The plague of skin cancer will spiral to an end, And cures for some other cancers will be found. (Last plague # 1 – Rev. 16:1-2)

2. In the USA, fish-killing red tides will begin to let up, As fertilizer run-off lessens and some dams are blown up. (Last plague # 2 – Rev. 16:3)

3. Deadly water in our faucets will continue for a few years, Until lead pipes are gone and fowling of our springs disappears. (Last plague # 3 – Rev. 16:4-7)

4. We will increasingly be scorched with heat for the next decade or more, Until carbon-spewing fuels like coal are replaced with cleaner power. (Last plague # 4 – Rev. 16:8-9)

5. We will continue to see deadly new pathogens for a decade or so, Until global warming, antibiotic abuse (and darkness) are under control. (Last plague # 5 – Rev. 16:10-11)

6. Ar Mageddon will continue for a while, but the good guys will prevail – When the last terrorist succumbs to the plague of exceedingly great hail. (Last plagues 6 & 7 – Rev. 16:12-20)

7. Two thousand years after the resurrection of Jesus, the Day of the Lord will dawn. Twenty-four elders will join Him on His throne and rule the Earth with a rod of iron. (millennial Kingdom of God – see Rev. 2:26-27; 4:4; 20:4; 22:1-2)

Until carbon-spewing fuels like coal are replaced with cleaner power.

You already repeat yourself and get it wrong ALL the time.

Now you have joined the cult of ALgore.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

It amazes me how many Christians are science deniers. Do you still believe the earth is flat, and was created in six (24-hr) days?

It especially amazes me when it comes to global warming because that is clearly prophesied in your Bible. Have you ever read Revelation 16:8-9)?

Al Gore and the Democrats may be wrong about everything else, but they are definitely right about global warming. In my neck of the woods (the Gulf Coast), sea-level has already risen 1 foot, and soon about half of Louisiana and Florida will be under water if nothing is done about global warming.

That's why Trump lost the election you know. Or at least that's why I voted against him, and a lot of my friends on the coast -- solely because he withdrew the US from the Paris agreement, a very stupid thing to do.

And none of my predictions have been wrong yet -- because they are based on the predictions of Jesus (together with the predictions of scientists).

Nope, it was the big headline last week in the local paper, the Galveston Daily News -- sea-level has risen one foot since the mid-20th century and every year it gets scarier. Local fishermen and the local home owners know it all too well. I traded in my house for a boat, because it floats.

The most ironic thing about it is virtually all of Donald's real estate holdings, now worth billions, will soon be under water -- beginning with his current residence in Florida, and then his resorts in Hawaii and around the world, and then Trump Tower too if NYC doesn't come up with billions of Dollars to build a 10-foot high seawall -- leaving Trump with nothing except for his bankrupt (under-water) Casino in Vegas.

So who is the bigger idiot?

First of all, the primary way we need to change our ways is shut down all of the CO2-belching coal-burning plants, the biggest polluter of all (by far). And not just in the US but also in China and in every country on Earth. The only exception that should be allowed is coal plants with "scrubbers" installed in the smokestacks to remove the CO2 before it enters the atmosphere. But at the present time it is too expensive for most countries although there is a couple working models in the US (expensive, but working kinda).

The world cannot afford to wait for the technology to catch up, coal plants or at least the vast majority need to be shut down immediately if not sooner if we want the Earth as we know it to survive. The Virginia coal-miners can be retrained to make clean fuels and everybody wins.

China is building coal-burning electricity generators at a pace that a new power plant comes on line every week...and they do not use the big-time scrubbers like we use here in the States. India is also telling us to stick the Paris Accords where the sun don't shine, so replacing every coal-burning plant with nuclear power generators will only help the global situation but so much.

Linked question...one of my concerns about increased nuclear power usage in America is the transportation of the dangerous waste byproducts to wherever we have chosen to store it long-term. Either trucks or trains carrying the nuke waste could be subject to terrorist acts from Islamofascists and EnviroWhackoz. My question, open to all, is this...if we were to readily share nuclear energy technology with 3rd world nations to help give them more dependable electrical energy service, how would we protect those plants from terrorist threats in the cases where Marxist MORONZ take over control of these countries? I agree that coal-fired plants need to be phased out, but that ain't gonna be cheap and won't happen overnight. But there is also a difference between burning "clean coal" vs. dirty coal, and the technological advances can improve the efficacy of those scrubbers. But I am all about bringing as.many sources of energy to bear as possible. I still have papers I wrote in Junior High School wherein I was convinced that Solar Energy was our world- wide panacea for our energy needs...lol. Turns out the technology works better as an energy supplement, and best on a house by house basis. I still cannot believe battery tech has not improved more than it has...if we could store excess electrical capacity generated, our individual electrical needs would be far easier to be served. Geothermal energy is another promising, yet largely untapped, individual home electrical source. I am not a big fan of the wind farms...too erratic until we can improve battery capacity and the bird carnage is a real thing, IMHO....MUD

Scrubber technology has much room for improvement, but they can serve as a relatively affordable medium term solution until replacement sources of electricity are brought online.

I cant seem to find the Daily News article right now, but it was quoting from NOAH's records I believe. Another news article says the sea level at Galveston has risen 18 inches since 1950, but it is counting the land subsidence in the area, which is also bad due to all the water and oil pumped from underground. That article can be seen at https://sealevelrise.org/states/texas/#:~:text=The%20sea%20level%20aroun d%20Galveston,nearly%201%20inch%20every%20year.

Also, Sea level rise and subsidence is equally bad in New Orleans and along most of the Louisiana coastline.

Thousands of houses have been lost to the sea in both Louisiana and Texas. And in western states, many thousands of houses have been lost to forest fires, another sign of men being scorched with heat (Plague # 4 of the Apocalypse).

Thank you for the link and the explanation, Barry...the clarification of the contribution of the poor soils makes more sense than the thought of sea levels rising 12 or 18 inches, because that 12-18 inch rise has to be planet- wide, and that simply has not been the reality.

I own some rental property on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and that series of barrier islands is constantly changing, as bad storms claim oceanside properties in one area, while further down the beach sand will pile up and increase the beach width. I think Galveston might be undergoing a similar process.

Where subsidence issues exist--and PERSIST-- humans have learned to adapt using various methods, including building up bulkheads and flood walls, and I know from personal experience that both Virginia Beach and Nags Head spends much of each winter off-season bringing in sand to replace that washed out to sea, and thereby keep our beaches acceptably wide for the tourists to enjoy and come back for.

My point is, we need to refrain from confusing TRUE rises in sea level and local issues encountered by coastal locales largely dependent on specific localized issues. The Algore-deifying EnviroWhacko RATZ are infamous for using such BS to stir up the Fears of the ignorant RAT-minionz...MUD

To: interpreter Are you open to the increased SAFE use of nuclear energy to power our electrical grid?

Seems to work for France and others.

Being from Bay City and having worked at the STP nuclear plant at one time, and being a whistle-blower who had a hand in shutting both units down back in Feb of '93, I do know a thing or two about nuclear power.

Don't know about the two in Bay City, but overall, the nuclear plants in general are pretty safe now days.

What the problem was in Bay City (and still is), the Nuclear plants need large amounts of water for cooling the reactors, and they use water pumped from the lower Colorado river. Most years there is plenty of water available but not always. That fall/winter there was a drought, and because the intake pumps are only a few miles from the Gulf and the Bay, and because there are 15 dams upriver, there was almost a meltdown.

That's because the intake pipes were putting salt water through the reactors' delicate cooling coils. The plant was closed for a year while the rusty pumps, pipes and coils were replaced. These days, it's even worse (potentially) with San Antonio also taking water out of the Colorado river.

But last winter there was a different problem. The cooling water froze, again shutting down the nuclear plants. A lot of people in the Houston area froze to death because they had no electricity for heat for four to five days.

So you see, while nuclear power as a whole is relatively safe, the weakest link is the large amount of cooling water required, which is especially true in Bay City. I am one of the few people in Bay City who were happy that the permitting of two additional reactors fell through. If they were to build them upriver or better yet, on another river without all the dams (maybe the Brazos) I would be OK with it.

Another problem is the cost. Nuclear plants cost billions and only major cities (like Houston) can afford them.

Barry Midyet

PS, I'm pretty sure France doesn't try to cool their nuclear reactors with salt water. The French have some common sense and that's why their stuff works.

I think that article must have been talking about the part of the county where I live -- the Kemah area. Everyone around here is talking about the sea-level rising 18 inches since mid-century. But (according to the article), 8 inches of that is subsidence. (Not worried though cause my boat floats).

While it varies place to place, Worldwide the sea level has rinen a little over 8 inches (according to NOAH). But it is not uniform largely due to changing ocean currents (also related to global warming).

I own some rental property on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and that series of barrier islands is constantly changing, as bad storms claim oceanside properties in one area, while further down the beach sand will pile up and increase the beach width. I think Galveston might be undergoing a similar process.

There's a lot of that going on around here also -- overall its mostly beach erosion, and especially Sargent Beach where today there's only 100 yards remaining between the gulf and the intracoastal canal (when there used to be a couple miles). Galveston is not as bad, and when sand is lost during a hurricane, they simply pump in some some more, usually when also the ship channel needs to be dredged (of excess sand). (Gotta keep the tourist industry and the shipping industry going). But if the present trends continue unchecked, Galveston will need a bigger seawall. A multi-billion-dollar "Ike Dike" has been proposed.

PS, I've got a lot of relatives living on the Outer Banks. I hung out there for a couple weeks one summer tracing the family tree and meeting some distant cousins. Great place.

To: interpreter Babble on weirdo.

Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

I don't recall that verse. I think you changed a few words. The Bible agrees perfectly with science.

How bout this verse:

Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.

Have any of Hal Lindsay's predictions come true? What about Van Impe's? Or maybe you prefer David Koresh?

I think the reason for God sending COVID is to kill off all the science deniers because that's who is dying mostly, those who are refusing the vaccine.

Very interesting, Barry...thank you for your insight. Regarding the need for large amounts of water required...how far away are you folks on the Left Coast from realizing the very real dream of building the facilities required to make seawater into potable water for use agriculturally AND to serve your citizens?
