2022 (and Beyond) in Bible Prophecy by Barry Midyet

Here are my annual predictions as I have done since 1992 But as always, I must add my standard qualifier:

These predictions are based on the Bible and cannot fail to come true But I may be ahead of God’s timetable by a year or two.

1. The plague of skin cancer will spiral to an end, And cures for some other cancers will be found. (Last plague # 1 – Rev. 16:1-2)

2. In the USA, fish-killing red tides will begin to let up, As fertilizer run-off lessens and some dams are blown up. (Last plague # 2 – Rev. 16:3)

3. Deadly water in our faucets will continue for a few years, Until lead pipes are gone and fowling of our springs disappears. (Last plague # 3 – Rev. 16:4-7)

4. We will increasingly be scorched with heat for the next decade or more, Until carbon-spewing fuels like coal are replaced with cleaner power. (Last plague # 4 – Rev. 16:8-9)

5. We will continue to see deadly new pathogens for a decade or so, Until global warming, antibiotic abuse (and darkness) are under control. (Last plague # 5 – Rev. 16:10-11)

6. Ar Mageddon will continue for a while, but the good guys will prevail – When the last terrorist succumbs to the plague of exceedingly great hail. (Last plagues 6 & 7 – Rev. 16:12-20)

7. Two thousand years after the resurrection of Jesus, the Day of the Lord will dawn. Twenty-four elders will join Him on His throne and rule the Earth with a rod of iron. (millennial Kingdom of God – see Rev. 2:26-27; 4:4; 20:4; 22:1-2)

Until carbon-spewing fuels like coal are replaced with cleaner power.

You already repeat yourself and get it wrong ALL the time.

Now you have joined the cult of ALgore.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

It amazes me how many Christians are science deniers. Do you still believe the earth is flat, and was created in six (24-hr) days?

It especially amazes me when it comes to global warming because that is clearly prophesied in your Bible. Have you ever read Revelation 16:8-9)?

Al Gore and the Democrats may be wrong about everything else, but they are definitely right about global warming. In my neck of the woods (the Gulf Coast), sea-level has already risen 1 foot, and soon about half of Louisiana and Florida will be under water if nothing is done about global warming.

That's why Trump lost the election you know. Or at least that's why I voted against him, and a lot of my friends on the coast -- solely because he withdrew the US from the Paris agreement, a very stupid thing to do.

And none of my predictions have been wrong yet -- because they are based on the predictions of Jesus (together with the predictions of scientists).

Nope, it was the big headline last week in the local paper, the Galveston Daily News -- sea-level has risen one foot since the mid-20th century and every year it gets scarier. Local fishermen and the local home owners know it all too well. I traded in my house for a boat, because it floats.

The most ironic thing about it is virtually all of Donald's real estate holdings, now worth billions, will soon be under water -- beginning with his current residence in Florida, and then his resorts in Hawaii and around the world, and then Trump Tower too if NYC doesn't come up with billions of Dollars to build a 10-foot high seawall -- leaving Trump with nothing except for his bankrupt (under-water) Casino in Vegas.

So who is the bigger idiot?

I cant seem to find the Daily News article right now, but it was quoting from NOAH's records I believe. Another news article says the sea level at Galveston has risen 18 inches since 1950, but it is counting the land subsidence in the area, which is also bad due to all the water and oil pumped from underground. That article can be seen at https://sealevelrise.org/states/texas/#:~:text=The%20sea%20level%20aroun d%20Galveston,nearly%201%20inch%20every%20year.

Also, Sea level rise and subsidence is equally bad in New Orleans and along most of the Louisiana coastline.

Thousands of houses have been lost to the sea in both Louisiana and Texas. And in western states, many thousands of houses have been lost to forest fires, another sign of men being scorched with heat (Plague # 4 of the Apocalypse).

Thank you for the link and the explanation, Barry...the clarification of the contribution of the poor soils makes more sense than the thought of sea levels rising 12 or 18 inches, because that 12-18 inch rise has to be planet- wide, and that simply has not been the reality.

I own some rental property on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and that series of barrier islands is constantly changing, as bad storms claim oceanside properties in one area, while further down the beach sand will pile up and increase the beach width. I think Galveston might be undergoing a similar process.

I think that article must have been talking about the part of the county where I live -- the Kemah area. Everyone around here is talking about the sea-level rising 18 inches since mid-century. But (according to the article), 8 inches of that is subsidence. (Not worried though cause my boat floats).

While it varies place to place, Worldwide the sea level has rinen a little over 8 inches (according to NOAH). But it is not uniform largely due to changing ocean currents (also related to global warming).

There's a lot of that going on around here also -- overall its mostly beach erosion, and especially Sargent Beach where today there's only 100 yards remaining between the gulf and the intracoastal canal (when there used to be a couple miles). Galveston is not as bad, and when sand is lost during a hurricane, they simply pump in some some more, usually when also the ship channel needs to be dredged (of excess sand). (Gotta keep the tourist industry and the shipping industry going). But if the present trends continue unchecked, Galveston will need a bigger seawall. A multi-billion-dollar "Ike Dike" has been proposed.

PS, I've got a lot of relatives living on the Outer Banks. I hung out there for a couple weeks one summer tracing the family tree and meeting some distant cousins. Great place.

Well, when I was there, I had a wife and baby with me, and did't get to check out the bars much. Now that my girl is grown and is wanting to know more about the family tree, we will probably revisit Nags Head at some point (when she has some time off).

On Galveston beach, on Sunday mornings, I hang out at the Tipsy Turtle (and Baptize converts in the Gulf). Afterwards, we (who are old enough) commune over a beer, and not wine, which they don't serve. I generally use red beer though (made with grapes). (But not so much in the winter if the water is too cold).

It's an Adam and Eve thing. The earliest writing, discovered in the Garden of Eden (now Iraq) and dating to around 5000 BC (around the time of Eve), says "fermented grapes + barley + hops." That's how beer used to be made (by the women in Mesopotamia, who just loved the forbidden fruit covering the tree of knowledge.

It was the tree of knowledge because, from then on we were no longer dumb monkeys cause we pass down knowledge from generation to generation through the written word. It was not long before the first cities sprang up. One of them was Ur, where Abraham was born.

But yes, I guess you could also say its a Texas thing. There's a brewery in Austin that makes 10 different kinds of red beer -- brewed from ten varieties of grapes. But they are not marketed outside of Austin.

The best one that's available nationwide (in my humble opinion) is George Killian's Irish Red. (Originally brewed only in Ireland but now marketed by Coors).

But like God warns us, consuming too many fermented grapes can indeed kill you, so please drink responsibly.

Cheers,

Barry

To: interpreter were no longer dumb monkeys

You sound lost.

You sound like the one who is lost, without a clue as to how we got here. Have you ever opened a science book?

Like the Bible, scientists divide the creation of the Earth into six time periods (or "yoms" in Hebrew). In the sixth time period, the Cenozoic period, God created all of the land animals we see today, including monkeys. In the last part of the sixth yom (or time period) God created modern man in the Garden of Eden (called Mesopotamia by archeologists). He did it by providing fermented grapes and then telling a semi-intelligent monkey (or hominoid) named Eve not to eat them because they can kill you. But He also told her and Adam the forbidden fruit would give them knowledge and long life. God knew that Eve would not be able to resist such a temptation, and the rest is history.

So you see, science and the Bible agree 100% -- with the exception of Paul's hard-to-understand epistles, which, like Peter said, people twist to their own destruction.

Have you ever read Genesis? It says the forbidden fruit was growing on the tree of knowledge (of good and eveil). After Adam and Eve consumed the forbidden fruit they knew for example that they were naked. And then Eve learned how to sew them some loincloths.

Genesis also calls it the tree of life. And when the early humans began drinking the red beer they started living about 5 years longer than the average monkey. Virtually all scientists (archeologists and anthropologists) agree 100 percent with what Genesis says, dumb-ass.

Sorry, but when someone slings mud at me, I sling it right back. (Please forgive me Lord).

I know a lot more than you think. I know for a fact that you will surely die if you consume too much of the forbidden fruit. My ex-wife, who consumed too much of it, died from Cirrhosis of the liver and at an early age. And its a miracle she didn't kill a bunch more people because she had six DWI's. What does Jesus mean when He says, "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan", and again, "the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie"?

How are Gentiles, or even other Jews, to know who is a Jew as opposed to someone who lies and merely claims to be a Jew?

Interesting post. Actually one of my favorite movies of all time was "The Last Temptatiuon of Christ" because the Bible says Jesus was tempted in every way as all men are. In the movie Jesus was tempted by Mary Magdalene who was very beautiful, and Jesus knew that because he had x-ray vision enabling Him to see her (and Mary and Martha) without clothes on.

In the movie Jesus had sex with her which I'm not buying, but a sect in France say they are descended from Jesus and Mary Magdalene. I think most Christians would have embraced the film if they would have deleted the nude scene showing Jesus and Mary Magdalene (played by Barbara Hershey) doing the nasty.

In those exact words, nowhere -- But Jesus did seem to have a lot of supernatural powers, so it sounds reasonable. Anyhow, writers and film makers often make use of what is called "poetic license" to enhance the story (and sell it to wider audience and make more money).

Anyhow, I wasn't looking at Jesus, I was looking at Mary Magdalene. Very beautiful, just like in the traditional Church teachings and art. (No wonder Jesus was tempted).

What I remember most about going to see it is that I was on ABC News. There were a lot protesters there and they were locking arms, preventing anyone from getting in the theater. Now I am pretty small, so I went and found my Jehovah's Witness friend who is big and muscular and brought him with me. He crashed the line and I followed him in. That's one of seven times I've been on ABC News.

I agree. But like I said, the writer / diector of that movie utilized "poetic licence" (i.e., stretch the truth). And they think the more nude scenes, the more tickets they will sell.

But if I were ever to get the rights to the movie, I would cut out the nude scenes and rerelease it. Then I think Christians would love it, because the Bible does say Jesus was tempted in every way that you and I are.

when J C baptized Mary Magdalene / Barbara Hershey that He (and the audience) saw her fully naked.

I had to look on IMDB to find out that you are referring to the movie adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis' novel "The Last Temptation of Christ".

I found this about Kazantzakis...

https://pappaspost.com/on-this-day-november-5-1957-funeral-of-nikos- kazantzakis/

Even in death, however, Kazantzakis remained controversial. A massive funeral procession took place in Heraklion on November 5, 1956 when a newspaper printed a cartoon depicting the procession and referring to him as the Anti-Christ.

And this...https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/culture/1.5000255

Kazantzakis was also a great fan of the Jewish people. He made many Jewish friends during his years in Europe. "He was fond of Jewish subjects and studied Hebrew with a rabbi in Crete," Dalyot says.

The entire cast of the movie (including Barbara Herzstein/aka Hershey) looks like a Jewish festival of hate toward the Messiah they rejected.

Are these actually Jews, or, are they those who call themselves Jews but aren't?

Are they actually Jews who are demon possessed, as you stated about the Jews at Smyrna?

You are portraying yourself as a Jew-turned-Christian prophet, but you are sensationalizing an anti-Christian movie.

Be honest, Barry, aren't you merely pretending to be a Christian in order to continue the mocking of Israel's Messiah, Whom you also have rejected.

Isaiah 53 speaks to your rejection

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
