The people on the so-called right who want smaller government and a return to the Constitution are being marginalized and co-opted right before our eyes. CPAC is just one vehicle to do it. What's left of the fledgling Tea Party movement in '10 and '12 will either find itself in the republican party or completely discredited by our so-called friends in right-wing media and talk radio. So - you can fault some on the movement for their political naivete - but why do you continue to impugn their motives? Also at least the tea partyers I have talked too are pretty gung ho on the ME wars. THIS particular tea-partyier was against going into Iraq, but I can't speak for others. I suspect opinions run the spectrum.
