However, as always happens with Collectivist solutions to problems, the problems just got worse, which was just fine with the Federal Guv'ment who simply called for even more Federal programs. And the National Media continued to play along, until in 1994 when the GOP took control under the auspices of reducing the size and scope of the Federal Guv'ment...and EMPOWERING States, Localities and Individuals.
