If you believe the media hype, a storm awaits America. The US government will have to fight off neo-Nazi religious fanatics, massive climate change, financial armageddon, mass species extinction, alien invasion, dollar dominance collapse, Russia and/or China, near-earth celestial objects, new pandemics, systemic racism, and evil billionaires, likely all at the same time. While more than one of those threats are overblown and/or unlikely, nobody knows what the future will bring other than that something bad will certainly happen at some point. So why aren’t policymakers eager to pay down the national debt? A small national debt is the best security blanket America has ever had, and arguably the reason it expanded so quickly and won all of its wars, the important ones anyway. To pay down the national debt means, at least, to run balanced budgets consistently, which makes the current debt less onerous as the nation grows more populous and prosperous. More aggressively, it means running budget surpluses as the US government routinely did in peacetime throughout its history and as recently as 1956. The most immediate benefit of paying down the debt is to end the recurring debt-ceiling crises. If America’s putative leaders really want to prepare the nation for future exigencies, they need to fight over how much to reduce the debt, not how much to increase it. Reducing the debt gives the government more fiscal “dry powder” to use during future emergencies, without bashing Americans with high taxes and/or inflation. You can think of the national debt like your credit card limit. The closer you are to that limit, the more you are paying each month in interest and also the closer you are to losing your automobile or home when an emergency hits. Instead of paying down its credit balance, Uncle Sam has been getting limit increases so it can put off payment. At some point, though, its creditors are going to say “no more.” That is unlikely to happen on any given, normal day but increasingly likely to occur precisely when the government will need the money the most, during a big crisis. Where can the money come from to pay down the debt? Some could come from higher taxes, once the economy recovers, but most of it should come from slashing the administrative state. I don’t mean Social Security, I mean all those three-letter executive agencies that take and take and take without giving much of anything of value back. Specifically, both DOEs, Interior, Labor, the DEA, and the rotten parts of the CIA, FBI, NSA, and DOJ. Some four-letter government entities could be pared back or eliminated too, including FEMA, NASA, and the USPS, because competitive private enterprises already fulfill their missions more efficiently. Services that currently cost taxpayers, in other words, could become government revenue sources. Some may think the federal government is too far gone to reform itself, but if it goes on a budget diet, a virtuous cycle will ensue, much like that (I can say from personal experience) enjoyed by a fat guy cutting back on carbs. A lower tax and regulatory burden will spur innovation, increase allocative efficiency, and create robust economic growth, which will swell tax receipts while reducing some expenditures like unemployment benefits and debt-interest payments. The world will remain a dangerous place, but the further the nation is from its credit limit, the more effectively the government will be able to respond when, not if, something goes seriously awry. Looking at the present, with each passing day, I see a very probable future: a new despotism creeping slowly across America. Faceless oligarchs sit at command posts of a corporate-government complex that has been slowly evolving over many decades. In efforts to enlarge their own powers and privileges, they are/were willing to have others suffer the intended or unintended consequences of their institutional or personal greed. For Americans, these consequences include chronic inflation, recurring recession, huge unemployment, the poisoning of air, water, soil, and bodies, and, more important, the subversion of our constitution. More broadly, consequences include widespread intervention in international politics through economic manipulation, covert action, or military invasion… I look at present members of the Establishment or people on its fringes who, in the name of Americanism, betray the interests of most Americans by fomenting militarism, applauding rat-race individualism, protecting undeserved privilege, or stirring up nationalistic and ethnic hatreds. I see pretended patriots who desecrate the American flag by waving it while waiving the law. In Nazi Germany, the Gehieme Staatspolizei, or Gestapo, was literally the Homeland Police (Security). It was the MOTHERLAND in the USSR, the FATHERLAND in Nazi Germany, and now the HOMELAND in Nazi America! Homeland Security and the FBI are the American Gestapo. In the months after Hitler took power, the SA and Gestapo agents went from door to door looking for Hitler’s enemies. Socialists, Communists, trade union leaders, and others who had spoken out against the Nazi Party were arrested, and some were killed. By the middle of 1933, the Nazi Party was the only political party, and nearly all organized opposition to the regime had been eliminated. Democracy was dead in Germany. This will be the fate nowadays of gun owners, anti-vaccine advocates, freedom activists, self-sufficient people, and everyone against the current diabolical regime that got in place by stealing, lying, and cheating. Many different groups, including the SA and SS, set up hundreds of makeshift “camps” in empty warehouses, factories, and other locations all over Germany where they held political opponents without trial and under conditions of great cruelty. These are not tactics used by constitutional republics, where the rule of law and the rights of the citizenry reign supreme. Rather, they are the hallmarks of authoritarian regimes, where the only law that counts comes in the form of heavy-handed, unilateral dictates from a supreme ruler who uses a secret police to control the populace. I know you already guessed and you are right, that danger is now posed by the FBI, whose laundry list of crimes against the American people includes surveillance, disinformation, blackmail, entrapment, intimidation tactics, harassment and indoctrination, governmental overreach, abuse, misconduct, trespassing, enabling criminal activity, and damaging private property, and that’s just based on what we know. Whether the FBI is planting undercover agents in churches, synagogues, and mosques; issuing fake emergency letters to gain access to Americans’ phone records; using intimidation tactics to silence Americans who are critical of the government; recruiting high school students to spy on and report fellow students who show signs of being future terrorists; or persuading impressionable individuals to plot acts of terror and then entrapping them, the overall impression of the nation’s secret police force is that of a well-dressed thug, flexing its muscles and doing the boss’ dirty work of ensuring compliance, keeping tabs on potential dissidents, and punishing those who dare to challenge the status quo. Consider the FBI’s far-reaching powers to surveil, detain, interrogate, investigate, prosecute, punish, police, and generally act as a law unto themselves—much like their Nazi cousins, the Gestapo—and then try to convince yourself that the United States is still a constitutional republic. Just like the Gestapo, the FBI has vast resources, vast investigatory powers, and vast discretion to determine who is an enemy of the state. Today, the FBI employs more than 35,000 individuals and operates more than 56 field offices in major cities across the U.S., as well as 400 resident agencies in smaller towns, and more than 50 international offices. In addition to their “data campus,” which houses more than 96 million sets of fingerprints from across the United States and elsewhere, the FBI has also built a vast repository of “profiles of tens of thousands of Americans and legal residents who are not accused of any crime. All of this is made possible by the agency’s nearly unlimited resources (its minimum budget alone in fiscal year 2015 was $8.3 billion), the government’s vast arsenal of technology, the interconnectedness of government intelligence agencies, and information sharing through fusion centers—data collecting intelligence agencies spread throughout the country that constantly monitor communications (including those of American citizens), everything from internet activity and web searches to text messages, phone calls and emails. Much like the Gestapo spied on mail and phone calls, FBI agents have carte blanche access to the citizenry’s most personal information. Much like the Gestapo’s sophisticated surveillance programs, the FBI’s spying capabilities can delve into Americans’ most intimate details (and allow local police to do so, as well). In addition to technology (which is shared with police agencies) that allows them to listen in on phone calls, read emails and text messages, and monitor web activities, the FBI’s surveillance boasts an invasive collection of spy tools ranging from Stingray devices that can track the location of cell phones to Triggerfish devices which allow agents to eavesdrop on phone calls. Much like the Gestapo’s power to render anyone an enemy of the state, the FBI has the power to label anyone a domestic terrorist. As part of the government’s so-called ongoing war on terror, the nation’s de facto secret police force has begun using the terms “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist” interchangeably. Moreover, the government continues to add to its growing list of characteristics that can be used to identify an individual (especially anyone who disagrees with the government) as a potential domestic terrorist. For instance, you might be a domestic terrorist in the eyes of the FBI (and its network of snitches) if you: express libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers) The FBI’s senators will continue with amendments to legislation, related or not, until they deliver to the FBI the power it wants. Unfortunately, most Americans today, unlike their forebears, are too ignorant and uneducated to know the value of the privacy rights that our Founding Fathers put in the US Constitution. The imbeciles say nonsense such as: “I haven’t done anything wrong. I have nothing to fear.” God help the imbeciles. If the American people were sufficiently sophisticated, they perhaps would wonder why such a large chunk of the US Senate would rather represent the FBI than the American people, their constituents who elected them to represent the people in the state, not a police power in Washington. Why do you think there are so many US senators more responsive to the FBI’s desire for Gestapo police power than they are to the civil liberties embodied in the US Constitution?" Blackmail, perhaps? May 22, 2023 You’ll either be ready in advance or you’ll be subject to whatever crisis unfolds. Whether it be a collapse of the banks, an economic collapse, a war, or all three is anybody’s guess, but it will be the world’s largest economic event in history. Have you heard of the reset which the International Monetary Fund has planned for the world’s financial system? Likely you haven’t, but that’s OK, most people haven’t. If this weren’t the head of the most powerful financial institution in the world, it would be easy to write off as irrelevant, but the IMF has the power to pull this off. But how? Quick answer, the SDR. The SDR is short for “Special Drawing Rights,” which is IMF money, so to speak. Without getting into the complexities of it, think of it as currency for nation states only. Businesses and individuals cannot access SDR’s. SDR’s are what the IMF uses to bail out nations and “rebalance economies.” They are digital, not hard currency. You cannot hold an SDR in your hand, nor can you write a cheque for one. What backs them? International currencies. Larger economies like the EU, USA, Britain, China, and others contribute their currencies to the IMF as donations to be used to maintain the global financial system. When a nation like Greece gets in trouble, the IMF may choose to issue SDR’s, which can be converted into any currency required, so in the case of Greece, they would convert their SDR’s into Euros. Remember, SDR’s are digital only, and you could say they were created to be converted into another currency. SDR’s were created in 1969 and are used by many nations. There were times when political forces attempted to make SDR’s the world currency, but none succeeded. But today more than ever, there is a growing consensus among nations to bring the SDR’s onto the world stage as the one world currency. Exactly what this would look like and how it would come to be are details only a handful of people know, but there is a meeting every 5 years to discuss the SDR and the next meeting happens to be in October of 2025. Why this matters. Back to the reset. The term “creative destruction” is popular among economists, it refers to the process of destroying something in order to birth something better. In this scenario, they would deem destruction to be “creative.” This is exactly what the heads of large financial institutions, nations, and various global players have in mind. They have said so with their own words, and when people with this kind of power say they want to do something, it would be wise to remember it. It’s true they don’t always succeed, but usually they do. The Global Reset will be a currency reset. Select currencies will be chosen to form a “basket” of currencies, which will be the privileged few to which SDR’s can convert to. Will other currencies still exist? This I don’t know, but even if they do, their value will be greatly diminished. As I write this, we already have a currency crisis developing in the world, as the US dollar has become so much more valuable than other currencies, in particular emerging nations. Why this is a problem. The US dollar is the world’s reserve currency, so to trade with other nations, it’s usually necessary to convert your nation’s currency into USD. This becomes a problem when your currency is worth very few US dollars, it makes everything more expensive, too expensive. It can be a benefit for exports though, as other nations view your products as cheaper due to your currency being devalued, but unless the country is a major exporter, this isn’t enough to offset the devaluation disadvantage. This trend shows no signs of changing, and will ultimately result in emerging nations being unable to pay back debt denominated in USD, or import goods required for their society. This is why we need a reset, among other reasons the IMF would state. If you listen to the IMF discuss the reset, it sounds like a necessary change and beneficial for global trade and commerce. But behind the few benefits are some very nasty hooks. SDR’s will put control of the world’s money in the hands of a few. The money will have no intrinsic value, even worse than now where we merely trade pieces of paper with no intrinsic value, we’ll be moving to digital currency. With the click of a mouse, billions, trillions, or quadrillions can be given or taken away. That’s a lot of power. Many people understand the danger of a system like this and will therefore resist, the IMF and its allies already know this, which is why they believe they will have to orchestrate a crisis big enough to make the whole world beg for a new system. This is easy to do when you have the cooperation of the largest banks, governments, and institutions in the world. The Global Reset will happen fast, you won’t be warned. You’ll either be ready in advance or you’ll be subject to whatever crisis unfolds.
