So what is the Overdue Amount? And how much does it take to keep this site up and running on an annual basis? I'm willing to pitch in and I am sure I am not the only one...MUD
Just say to whom and how much. if $200 is all it takes what does FR do with all the excess? Probably pay those idiot administrators who routinely kick off the wrong posters.

Here is my theory, as one who went overboard with his posting for almost 9 years...and I hope Freddy weighs in on this as well...
In the late-90's, Mr. Jim Robinson, a veteran now relegated to a wheelchair, but relatively adept at doing small-scale software applications was scraping by as a self-employed computer troubleshooter, but the majority of he and his wife's-- "JustAmy" was also in ill health and in a wheelchair--income came from federal disability payments. Then JimRob set up FreeRepublic.com and it steadily grew in power and reach to the point that Congressman Bob Barr was quoted as saying that the Impeachment of Bill Clinton would have NEVER HAPPENED except for the indefatigable efforts of "FReepers".
Then, Ms. Antifeminazi and BobJ and others worked with JimRob behind the scenes to create the infamous ModSquad made up of a bunch of old blue hairs very much stuck in the RINO mindset, and they carried the water for the RINOZ like Dubyuh, McCain, and Mitt the TWIT, while removing most genuine ReaganConservatives and anti- BigGuvment folks from the board (me included). In exchange for stabbing genuine Conservatives and Conservatism in the back, the Robinsons receive 4 FReep-a- thons per year, with each netting approximately $88K per quarter, or $350k per year annual income for the Robinsons...EVERY YEAR for the last 20+ years.
