The Defense Department refuted criticism of Kamala Harris – who is not in the chain of command – that she disrespected a military honor guard as the boarded Air Force 2 this week. Poster Comment: REPEATING; "... [Kamala Harris] who is not in the chain of command." The current military guidance for saluting involves not the VP but only the president. Service members are required to salute the president, but the president doesn't have to salute them. So, why is the hell are the uniformed member of the US Air Force doing saluting her – WHY? The pentagon needs to get its shit together. Saluting Kamala Harris is obsequious – being kiss ass obedient or attentive to an excessive or servile degree. Pentagon – Just STOP with the salute to the Kamala Harris.
