Scuffles at Westfield Franklin Park Mall result in arrest of 6 teenagers Toledo police arrested at least six teenagers Saturday night at Westfield Franklin Park after responding to reports of fights erupting throughout the mall. The first scuffles were noted about 7:45 p.m. Police broke up groups of teens at the food court, around the movie theaters, and in several other locations. Police arrested teens who did not disperse on charges ranging from assault to obstructing official business and resisting arrest. One kicked a trash can at officers and was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, Officer James Schlievert said. No serious injuries were reported. ************ No race was reported either but I'll take an educated guess most were black. I remember when several University of Toledo students were conducting a survey at Portside in the 80s, registering comments and complaints. I said, "How can I put this politely?" and then remarked about "unattended black youth" that overwhelmed the place with their unproductive presence. Walking away, my friend and I overheard the girl say, "That's what I hate about this survey - it brings out racism." I turned around and told her if she didn't want the facts, call them racist or not, then don't ask for them. Then the beginning of the end for Southwyck was when it became known by concerned whites that blacks "took over" on Friday nights, swarming in front of the Red Baron, blocking the entrance to normal shoppers who went there to browse and purchase things, not just loiter or get dropped off as some public baby-sitter station unavailable in the Projects. It's rumored that Levis Commons and Fallen Timbers didn't want bus lines running to their stores, knowing it could lead to their ruin - at least in atmosphere. I checked and a bus line does go from downtown Toledo to Perrysburg but I don't know about Fallen Timbers. It appears Franklin Park Mall (Westfield Shopping Center) has received a black eye by their frightening disturbances of the peace and it could definitely contribute to their demise. This sounds strangely reminiscent of African bees versus the European bees. The African bees are more violent and respond to real or imagined threats by sending out three or four times more than the European bees do and drive away the productive bees. In the days of segregation, for all its faults, such things were unheard of and people of white color could feel safe and secure.

History would seem to say the answer to that question is that different races can NOT live together in peace. It seems like any race can tolerate and live in peace with a few people who are different,but things go all to hell when large numbers of different people start coming in to take over and change the culture.

Day after day, Quayle probably was thinking of the plural usage of the word. The plural of negro isn't used so much any more, and I've seen it so many times without the e when it is used in this context, so that's the way I used it.

Excerpt: Young Men are The Problem (Part I of III) Mark Steyn's thunderbolt of a book, America Alone, made the case that Western Europe will soon be an Islamic state, that all of Western history and culture is threatened and that a new dark age will shortly be upon us. The reason for this is that Islamic societies have a birthrate three or four times that of the West. They are out-breeding us in every maternity ward in the world. That would be trouble enough --the end of Civilization as we know it-- but it isn't the only problem, or even the most immediate. The immediate problem is that a society that breeds so fast has a very young demographic makeup. They have more young men and young men are prone to violence. Muslim societies are particularly vulnerable to the effects because they have few, if any, productive enterprises. If you take oil off the table, you're left with desert sand, scrub bushes, cement block buildings and mass unemployment. So not only do Arab societies have more young men, they have more unemployment, thus more reason for young men to be violent. In the following video, Martin Kramer, an authority on the Middle East, makes a strong case in just a few short minutes for the idea that a surplus of military- aged males is a big part of the Middle East's problem. Take a look: (see link above for video) There are a lot of good quotes in this speech, but the one that hit me was, "Radical Islam is a way for the superfluous son to enter history." Another comment was that the West should stop providing pro-natal subsidies for these societies because these only exacerbate the problem (I'm paraphrasing). It's like hoping the enemy runs out of bullets when its armament factories are set to double. Is this realistic? No. What Kramer has laid out; what Mark Steyn laid out, is a recipe for either a) cultural domination by Islam, b) a war started by Islam, or c) both. If you're happy watching the Olympics, enjoy it while you can. There won't be any of that nonsense if the current, observable, quantifiable, trend continues. We're in a war that we're losing. Kramer doesn't say we shouldn't be in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban, but he does say the country's population is set to double, and there's no doubt our efforts to combat infant mortality will help that number grow. This explosive growth will drive radicalization through another generation at least and push it into Europe and America though immigration."
Kramer says there is hope because fertility rates will decline in these countries, as it has in Iran, and older populations reject radicalism. This is like hoping the current deplorable situation with Islamic fundamentalism wont get worse despite scores of millions of additional Jihadists and tens of millions more surplus, angry, testosterone loaded young men. It is as faint a hope as I've ever heard anywhere.
