Armenian & Azerbaijani sources released footage from ongoing heavy clashes in the Nagorno-Karabakh region as both nations declared state of war.
The mountainous area is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan but is run by ethnic Armenians.
Both Armenia and Azerbaijan have already declared general mobilisation and state of war.
The clashes are the heaviest in the long-running conflict since 2016.
Turkey has already declared its support for Azerbaijan, while Russia - which has military bases in Armenia - called for an immediate ceasefire.
