LEFT WING LOONS Title: Warren: Biden won't 'disrespect' Native Americans like Trump does (Pocahontas)) Sen. Elizabeth Warren told the Democratic National Committee's Native American Caucus Joe Biden wouldn't be flippant with tribal nations like President Trump. Warren, whose own White House bid was hurt by her claims to Native American ancestry, was talking to the group about the Massachusetts-based Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe's legal battle with the Trump administration. "Donald Trump has fought hard to strip the Mashpee of their ancestral homelands. And I say it's time to have a president who will fight even harder, but this time, to protect Indian country," the Massachusetts Democrat said at the 2020 Democratic National Convention. She added, "With Joe Biden in office, Indian country will not need to worry about that kind of disrespect any longer. Joe Biden understands and will honor the United States's moral and legal obligations to tribal nations." The Trump administration this summer appealed a favorable ruling for the Mashpee people over its reservation status. The federal court judge had ordered the U.S. Interior Department to reassess its decision to take the tribe's 300 acres out of trust. While touting the 2020 presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Warren also shared her legislative progress with New Mexico Democratic Rep. Debbie Haaland, one of the first Native American women elected to Congress. Warren and Haaland are working to ensure the federal government better funds education, healthcare, housing, and public safety programs for tribal nations and indigenous peoples. Some of their initiatives include streamlining the traditional congressional appropriations process and guaranteeing executive branch representation. Warren last year released DNA results showing she had one Native American ancestor six to 10 generations ago. She published the information to counter criticism, encouraged by Trumps Pocahontas nickname for her, that she professionally benefited from claiming to have Cherokee and Delaware Indian lineage based on family folklore. The Boston Globe reported last September that Harvard University and her other former law school employers didnt factor Warren's minority status into their recruitment of her.
Poster Comment: Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren made a damn fool of herself by declaring herself a candidate for President of the United States, while carrying the baggage of a record of falsifying affirmative action questionnaires.
