Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. Of course I will be safe. I have never relied on the police or anyone else to protect me anyhow,so nothing will have changed. Well,I AM older,slower,and less nimble,but I still shoot straight.
In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
Of course I will be safe. Can't say the same for anyone that threatens me,though.

An older gentleman once told me he lived his life and has much less to losesthan a younger chap. In other words don't fuck with him. He may lose 5 years but the young man will lose much more. I really liked that guy.
There is a lot of truth there. Best guess is I have 3 to 4 years before my cancer takes me,but that may be optimistic. All I know for sure is I have whatever it is I will have,just like everybody else.

The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.
