Baseball is the one sport I still follow, but I dread the beginning of this weird, abbreviated season. Players and coaches are expected to kneel as an expression of disrespect during the national anthem, and even to wear Black Lives Matter insignia on their jerseys. Those who have the guts to decline will no doubt be denounced by the left-wing sports media as racists. If the Diamondbacks follow the Giants and kowtow à la Colin Kaepernick to anti-American Marxist/black supremacist ideology, I am done as a fan for the foreseeable future. Retired baseball great Aubrey Huff sounds off on MLB succumbing to the leftist mob:
If you want to follow his suggestion and look up why Black Lives Matter is a terror group, you can start here, here, and here. Or you can figure it out for yourself, as you probably already have. If you define terror as the use of intimidation and violence rather than rational persuasion to achieve political objectives, BLM is the quintessential terror outfit.
Commentary from NOQ Report:
As JD [Rucker] covered in the latest episode of Conservative News Briefs, this needs to become a rallying cry for sports fans to do what many have been threatening to do for a long time: Boycott. And as he noted, this isnt another example of participation in cancel culture. This is about our need to stop paying people who hate us and our worldview. This is about sending a message that they need to keep their politics off the field because, as Huff noted, people dont turn on sports to get political. They turn on sports to get away from the rigors and drama of real life. We watch to be entertained, not to be chastised or preached to about our beliefs.
The only alternative to boycotting politicized sports is to cede them to leftists as yet another platform for their relentless propaganda. There is only one way to push back: stop watching.
Greater sacrifices have been made for this country. Thats one reason decent people show respect when the national anthem is played.
