Goldi protects him because he only posts like this because he's "provoked". She uses the same excuse for MD. The thing is, anybody who spends just a couple of minutes perusing his posts will see he has serious homosexual fantasies. It's all he ever posts about.
When I think of all the decent folks she's banned over the years and those two remain, it just doesn't make sense...at least not to anyone with common sense.
Frankly, if you exclude the viigilante retreads that she banned, the only banning that seemed remotely justified was Badeye's and, IMHO, she didn't need to ban him, just get him under control.
Brian S was finally fed up with her uneven moderation and posted something nasty to her; I think he knew it was his last hurrah. It was something along the lines of Nebby's tag line only a little worse IMO.

I remember that. "Abdicate what?", I remember thinking at the time. I believe he said he then went to the Washington Post site where his laser-like logic and persuasive arguing skills got him banned in a couple of days, whereupon he returned to LP as a conquering hero.
Yea...it was a good one but nothing will ever match Badeye's classic meltdowns. He owns the top five spots at least...his threat to go "nuclear" on me being second only to his whining plea to Neil to not ban him over having two accounts...Badeye and Monocle...that was a classic balloon "duck farting" around the room as it deflates if ever there was one...
Neil had his number...but good!...(chuckle)
Neil was stunned by what he found, and then felt diminished when he compared it to his own sad lonely life. Thats just fact. And then he lied about it, which was hilarious, given website managers provided me with real time data on his look around my company website.
The problem with your scenario is that just about everyone who is here was also there then. We ALL saw how Neil routinely reduced you into whimpering, simpering mass of asshole. It was HILARIOUS how he could pop in and say something as innocuous as "HI How ya doin'?" and your meltdown would commence. We would all sit back and just laugh...at you.
