Altogether, the seven last plagues are designed to weed out the shaft from the wheat, and take out up to half of mankind, as also prophesied in the Gospels. Ha, there is definitely no "rapture," only judgment day. The so-called rapture defies all the laws of physics (which God created and cannot violate). Therefore, I will post here for everyone to read – that we find in John 14:2-3 where Jesus said: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Jesus has promised that He is coming back. We can find comfort with these words. We need not wait in terror. Because as true believers we have the hope of the coming again of Jesus. When Jesus was getting ready to depart and return back to the Father, some of His disciples and His friends were watching and waiting – when two angels said: “Why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11). That is God’s promise to you and me. When I went to school (in the early '60's), it was in every history book I read (both in High School and college textbooks). Why do you say we are "still" on the eve of destruction? That is a modern phenomenon. Back in 325 AD, all Christians were in heaven as it was meant to be and we must strive to get back to that. As Jesus said, Do not look here, nor there, for the coming of Heaven.
