Presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden said hed gladly pick Michelle Obama to be his running mate.
In an interview with CBS Pittsburgh, Biden said the former First Lady would make an excellent addition to his Cabinet as vice president.
Id take her in a heartbeat, Biden said on Monday. Shes brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends.
I dont think she has any desire to live near the White House again, Biden reportedly added, though the CBS video clip cut this remark out.
Biden, 77, said his campaign has just begun the process of vetting potential running mates ahead of the Democratic National Convention in August.
In terms of who to pick, were just beginning the process, Biden said. Well shortly name the committee to review this and begin to look through the backgrounds of the various potential nominees. And thats just getting underway.
Ill commit to that be a woman because it is very important that my administration look like the public, look like the nation. And there will be, committed that there will be a woman of color on the Supreme Court, that doesnt mean there wont be a vice president as well, he added.
Bidens vice presidential pick is likely to pick up at least as much media attention as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin did when failed Republican candidate John McCain tapped her as his VP in 2008, both because Biden vowed his VP would be a woman, and because many voters are concerned about Bidens mental health and advanced age.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was supposedly at the top of his shortlist before she became infamous overnight for revealing herself as a staunch authoritarian amid the coronavirus lockdowns.
Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, Sens. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Kamala Harris (Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), and disgraced former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates are also reported to be under consideration as Bidens VP.
Neither are black for starters, and Hanks isn't a girl.
Biden needs a female as Veep, because if he does win, she is very likely to succeed him. If he makes it two years and a day, she can then take over and be President for 10 years, serving out his half-term plus two more of her own.
Michelle Obama hearkens back to the Democrats' "Happy Time", when Obama was President and they felt so good about the world.
Oprah is, well, Oprah, a communicator who starts out greater in that regard than "The Great Communicator" himself, Ronald Reagan. Of course, she's not under consideration, but she would be THE best person for either party to get on their ticket. I was hoping for a Trump/Oprah ticket the first time. Oprah could win Biden the Presidency, especially because his very fraitywould make President Oprah very likely,
But Oprah, like Rush Limbaugh, knows what she is good at, and has never even sniffed at being a politician. As Rush has said "I don't want to take the pay cut." Why would Oprah want to go from being on of the most beloved of all celebrities, making just shy of a billion dollars a year and beloved everywhere, to making a fraction of that, and becoming an object of hatred so intense that she will need Secret Service protection to guard her life, probably for the rest of her life?
Oprah and Rush are WAY too smart for that. Stick with what you're good at, have a great life, leave the mess of sausage making to the politicians.
Funny thing is, I think Michelle Obama has been completely sincere all along when she has said how much she hated political life, living in the White House, all of it. She ENDURED it, for her husband and their family, but here we'll see if she really meant it. Biden wants her as Veep. She hasn't exactly rushed out there and said she wants the job. I expect she'll say "Thanks, but no", because I think she always meant it when she said she hated the political spotlight. She knows full well what she'd be getting into, and unlike Hillary, who could never wait to get her hands on power once she tasted it, I don't see Michelle as eager to do this at all.
If she does it, it will be out of a sense of duty. Somebody has to be the first woman President, and the first completely unambiguously African-American Christian President. If history makes it such that it has to be her, she may decide she has to. But she doesn't want iit.
I think Michelle Obama has been completely sincere all along when she has said how much she hated political life, living in the White House, all of it. She ENDURED it, for her husband and their family...
Manchelle has "endured it" for the fortune she made off with and the house on Martha' Vineyard as well as the Power Trip. Been there, done that.
Moreover, she/he/it can't and won't leap back into politics for several reasons -- the least of which are "duty."
And then there is her/his/it's true nature, its flagrant hypocrisy as a Communist who embraces capitalism now that it has stepped over mountain of corpses, and its openly racism hatred for the USA.
Oprah is absolutely nothing like Reagan in the context of honesty, sincerity, trust, and accomplishment.
For Democrat political optics Biden does need a female VP. One that doesn't mind being a crash-dummie and target of humiliation.
Oprah's is a creation and figment and creation of fellow Occultists and power broker Elites. Worst than that, she is a New Age Occultist and Epstein pedo "handler" who wouldn't/couldn't withstand the scrutiny and revelations.
Somebody has to be the first woman President...
WHY??
Do we also need a "first" midget Prez? Lez-Prez? Afro-Jewish-Gypsy-Satanist?
